I've just set up my bb connection so am waiting to set up the talk part
When I call cs I spoke to Middlesborough not India0 -
I had mine connected a couple of nights ago by a cs rep in India, she did it while I was on the phone and I can make calls easy enough, I have not had any incoming yet. I was given an 0845 no, you can change the no via the website.0

The add for the Orange BB and Talk look very atractive and I concider to switch to it after my BB contract with NTL (Virgin media) will expire, but after reading your remarks I do not know what to do. I make lot's of phone calls to UK and abroad and Orange could save a lot of money to me, but...Is any body has a good service from them? Please, advice me on this mutter.0

We have had no problems, our talk package was set up within two days. The only problem we are having is when we are using the phone and the wireless broadband at the same time, the phone goes a bit distorted.0

An E-Mail to their Executive Office usually gets results.

hi.i was formally with wanadoo til orange took over, since then its all gone downhill.i had major intermittent connection problems wich they ignored until i threatened to cancel.they then offered me a cheaper contract 12.99 a month ,a live box a speed of up to 8mb and a home call from an engineer.i got the new contractand live box,but no engineer and the speed remains fixed at 1.1 .after at least 3 hours of phonecalls and finally telling them they were in breach of contract and that i was going to cancel my direct debit i got a bt engineer to call who fixed the problem[which was with orange] however orange now tells me that my line is not capable of recieving a higher speed [it can recieve up to 4] a blatant lie that they have told other customers that have posted complaints. they charge 7p per minute for their so called customer support and keep you on the line for as long as possible.my advise is look elswhere.:rolleyes:0 -
i totally agree spent nearlly 1 & half hrs on phone thurs eve told them i wanted to migrate etc.yes i could have code but as soon as i used it i would be billed £199 as cancelling b4 end of 12 month contract demanded to speak to manager ranted and raved no way was i gnna pay to end contract for service they couldn't supply in end they agreed to waive fee asked bout migration code was put threw to dept to deal with this but stoopid w####r cancelled contract 1st so we can't migrate have to wait 10 days for orange to clear line then order with new isp:mad: :mad:Lead us not into temptation...

Avoid being stung for 7p/min by having to call Orange (Wanadoo) Customer Care or Customer Services re-your broadband connection (and yes, they are two separate dept's! From what I can tell, Customer Care is in England and Customer Services is often re-routed to India?!! )USE 0800 0795000 choosing option 4 from the menu, takes you through to sales, who can put you straight through to customer services/care.Good Luck and lots of Happy Moneysaving................I so hate being continually put on hold so that advisors can alledgedly speak to their supervisor re-the simplest of questions, yet apparently remain as clueless when they come back onto the line?!!!!! It's a scam!!Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. :A0
