I had a issue finding a decent company and posted here for help too:)
I ended up with a great deal from Capital Bedrooms. Found them online and gave them a quick call, a gentleman came around and gave me a quote and really let me design my wardrobes myself. I also went to their showroom in Perivale(London) just to see the wardrobes and choices of wood on offer.
They came within the next week and a half and fitted everything in one day.Really happy with them after having a terrible experience with others. If you can, ask for Hardy who is a bright young chap with lots ideas to make use of your living area.0 -
Hi
We bought fitted Wardrobes from Chasewood in 2012. We had a major battle with them, they measured up wrong and made alterations on site by hand, wood butchers is the best description I could give the fitters, so we had them sent back to be factory remade. They then sent wrong colour doors, White gloss instead of Black gloss. They were very poor with communications failed to respond to emails etc. We finally had our wardrobes fitted after a lot of toing and froing. The work was signed of and 10 yrGuarantee card sent. Chasewood went into receivership not long afterwards. They have now reinvented themselves as Chasewood Furniture and still in B&Q.
5 yrs later ALL the black gloss laminate has lifted on all the units, the bedroom is wrecked, it has had minimal use, as my Daughter has been in university for 3 years. I have spoken to Trading Standards, and they have advised me to persue B&Q, for the Guarantee. I shall keep you all posted on the outcome.
So make your own decisions on Chasewood furniture. I have mine.:(0 -

Hi All,
Does anyone have any recent experience. They have a significant deposit and have received an email, after much chasing they have gone into administration. Any advice to get my money back greatly appreciated. Looks like they are serial bankrupters. I placed an order before Christmas, was given a date to install and much chasing. Really upset. We saved up to have these cupboards. Wife is in tears.0
