Tracking the owner of a reg I want

Buying a private reg from the current style plates is just daft. If you want a private plate get a prefix or a dateless one.
Also mis spacing them with screw heads etc is just tacky and cheap.0 -
Do you really believe your new wife will want to have your 'brand' stuck on her car? Really? Is that how she will want the whole world to define her?
Surely a diamond or pearls would last just as long and appear less 'possessive' as a present.:hello:0 -

Agree with that, one of the main reson to get a private plate for me would be to hide the age of the car, the further you go up the prefix plates and all the new style plates makes it harder to tell and can end up making the car look older than it is.0 -

Wow, you guys are pathetic. The OP was asking for advice, not your opinion. Just because you don't agree with what he is doing is not a reason to give your pointless and ridiculous opinions on the matter.0

I think by mentioning that he intended to change the spacing of the letters/numbers (which is illegal) the OP walked straight into the abuse, I personally have nothing against private/personal plates, however I do think people who alter their plate to suit their own vanity are complete d**kheads.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

... and you, like the rest of us, are entitled to hold an opinion.
Thank you for sharing yours - we have enjoyed hearing from you too.:hello:0 -

You seem to have missed the point, the poster was after advice, on how to achieve something, if he wanted advice on whether to do it or not, he would have asked for it.0 -
