OP, you are quite entitled to be annoyed.
Despite what the usual suspects (who love to belittle anyone who was not born with a complete understanding of what every business they deal with means as opposed to what they say) you are perfectly entitled to expect a next day delivery to mean exactly that.
The points the muppets who have piled in to tell you your are being unreasonable seem to have missed are:
1) According to your OP the site offered 'next day delivery', not 'next working day delivery'.
2) Both the RM and many courier companies do deliver on a Saturday.
3) If someone says 'next day' it is up to them to qualify that, if that is not what they mean. (I'd grant that it would be a bit daft to expect a Sunday delivery simply because just about no couriers do that).
Theoretically the company are in breach of contract, although it would not be really be worth while pursuing that line.
Someone isn't a muppet because you don't agree with them.0 -

Correct.
Well done!
They are muppets because they didn't read the OP correctly and are making assumptions that are more egregious than the assumption they imputed to the OP.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
If I ordered something on Thursday evening by normal next day delivery and it was delivered on Saturday, I would be very very impressed... RM HAVE a separate Saturday next day delivery service (can't remember what it's called), and Saturday is not a working day.Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0
