So precious and so very rare Cath!
Apple I plan to get the children on it in September. DH who knows about these things refuses to comment on the legality or otherwise.

Plops will enjoy the apples too!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Oh what a shame the kids are coming home
Apples - there's a rediscovered orchard at the far end of my local little nature reserve, which was brought back from the brink by the local agricultural course students. I pick from there regularly - I've got half a dozen or so in my fridge right now, I'll be getting more later today then doing my thing on them2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sorry to hear the children are ill, Al - hope they pick up soon x What a shame it had to be during your couple-time

caught up on all your news here and on't blog. You've packed a lot into the first week of your holibobs.
Any news from the viewing? The image of you dusting the piano with your sleeve made me LOL. Poor form from the agents to turn up so early without prior warning.
Hope the children are recovered from their respective ailments.
Going to pinch your storecupboard challenge idea, it will make room to start afresh with a back-to-school armageddon shop :T Any thoughts on what to do with 2 packs of sausage meat bought on a YS whim?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Hope children feel better soon. When the time comes, you could make cider?Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Mmmm cider!
Sausage meat...well as a veggie I am not much use but meatballs?to go with pasta?
So day 9 of storecupboard challenge. We would have bought milk anyway but the smalls being home meant bread, cheese and ham too.
Honestly they are all so exhausted I am glad they are home as God knows what state they would have been in by Thursday. All three have just slumped all day.
Today I am grateful for
* the first day in ages that I didn't feel overscheduled
* DH and I on the same page about moving
* sunshine
* I sacked the est. Agent!
* we still have lots of food in.
