Ha ha. When DD1 was little she used to freak out at bugs and we used to do an "insect dance" to distract her.

Just home from parents evening.NSD save for DH's petrol.

Short rant: We have many great kids in our school, so why do the arrogant, lazy, rude children of staff have to be picked for positions of responsibility?

    Hope all is well.

    3 hours without a drink. Bit much.eta I don't mean alcohol!!
  • Well done on surviving parents evening. Pour yourself a very large glass of wine and start the count down

  • Parents evening is hell. Re children of staff, I find that difficult children generally get chosen for plum positions in order to motivate them. All very well, but I often wonder what the good,, quiet students feel about it.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
