Oh I see, Al ... good nutrition always helps, and specifically any foods to support kidney, liver, digestive and brain function ... in everything that I read nowadays, moderate exercise (30 minutes walk 5 times a week) is credited with huge benefits, much bigger than you'd think from it being just walking, not slogging away at the gym. I know you ride, so you won't need that, but maybe he does? I do, for sure, I'm not at 30 minutes daily of exercise that leaves you moderately pink ...
what do the hospital people say about self help? That has to come first.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

He is pretty good with exercise and hosp not saying anything...fair enough since they've not diagnosed him with owt yet.0 -
Middle age is when all the sins of your youth catch up with you. My oh has conditions linked to much the same as yours, including years living on cigarettes, black coffee and the occasional fry up. he has mostly cleaned up his act but the damage has been done. Now it is just managed with the use of some excellent drugs. The NHS is wonderful at mending us.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013.
