our home brew which is a class above marks and spenders six quid a bottle (did a taste test!)
£6 a bottle? You can get Tesco chablis cheaper than that if you wait for one of their regular offers + you don't have to make it!0 -
All good news, wonderful. Apart from the chaotic house but with small children around, that is just how it is.
Hope the saddle works out,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Home brewing is really very little faff. I have tried doing it properly but I see no difference between that and shoving it in a fermenter and then syphoning it straight off the yeast when done.
Feeling somewhat battered. Managed to water pony and bellring then home to set up the next batch - sauvignon blanc - and lunch. Then frantic saddle searching and back to pony. The saddle we have got is rubbing her but i didnt do my reasearch about saddle fitters and master saddlers as things have changed since i rode.
Anyway should really be collapsing in bed about now.
Today i am grateful for
* the ringing team ( two of whom are great grandmothers)
* birdsong
* my dog who is asleep on my legs as she has done since she was old enough to climb on the sofa
* i can smell half term
