Ha! Complained about the bleach. Good old MrS £20 for troos plus a tenner for good will.

I have to say they're good for things they get wrong.

I particularly liked my 5kg pork joint for £4 because I'd asked for 1kg :money:

For pork, read potatoes, and divide all the prices by 5 :D

    Hello Katzen welcome and thanks.

Saddler came yesterday and we are looking at 400 quid up for a new saddle. With party funds at 800 quid in the red and savings taking a pony shaped hit it is really time for some actual austerity as opposed to just making noises about it.

If you don't mind me asking, what is a 'typical' price for keeping a horse?

It might be perfectly practical if you have some land in the countryside and know what you're doing, but I always got the impression it was horrendously expensive.

Have you seen the episode of the Simpsons where Homer has to work two jobs after Lisa gets a pony? :)

    Hi Edinburgher.

My colleague who is considering it has priced it up at £250 a month with diy livery.

It isnt going to cost us anything like that since we have our own paddock and she is a native pony who lives on things like brambles - funny to watch her eating the leaves without getting prickled.
