    Sounds like fun - does yomping mean walking?

    I have a degree in English literature, but you're so well spoken in this diary that I always feel as if I should be sticking in a ditch with berries up my nose when I visit :rotfl:

    Interesting times. Someone at work went for interview somewhere else, 8 months into a promoted post.
    Not done really.

    So so much to do. Two calls, dinner, present and parcel wrapping, dishwasher, washing. The laptop has packed up and we will need a new one before marking season.

    Spent three quid on a maths book for DD1

    Today I am grateful for
    * time with DH lift sharing
    * stunning day
    * finally got a problem child dealt with at work
    * a fiver off from mr t
    * a rest from pony walking though I have to send her a kiss!

    Gorgeous day today. DD2 has just smashed a glass over the kitchen floor and I can't find a dustpan to clear it up.

    Pony has shoes on. Thankfully she behaved herself.

    Today I am grateful for
    *farrier in one piece
    * DH might be going full time again.
    * Got home a bit early
    * Got some mugs in Mr m for 49p
    * just got pony cuddles.

    He he. It is a boy and he would probably give her indigestion.

    Classic question today "miss do plants mate?" Cute...16 year old boy.

    No spend day.

    Today I am grateful for

    * the home brew
    * dr who
    * long weekend
    * got DD to eat muesli by refusing to give her anything else
    *I got to sit down before 9 pm.

    I prayed for rain last night for my grass seed and we have it in abundance.

    And pay off my mortgage :D.
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
