Since I am not buying it...

I can live with pylons and it falling down, but not a right of way through it.

  • Never mind, the right thing will come along. Have sent a PM, good luck with the interview.

Really hope it works out for you. X

Plus the different houses wore different colour uniforms just like Harry potter!

We all wore the same uniform, but we had a different colour tie to denote which house we were in

I am feeling a lot of love for that house! Might be able to bury the cables (EDF did one here on the basis that my son's football and kite were likely to be tangled in it - I don't have a son but EDF didn't realise that and I was quite prepared to acquire one if needed). The renovation work could be done overtime. The annex could be let out.
mmmm.....are you sure you don't want that house? Ponyplops could move in along with a couple of liveries???? 6 acres is a lot of pony friends ????

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

The right of way kills it Watty.

The job was offered to a redundant ex assistant head so don't feel too bad about that.

Sorry if this has been asked before Al, but have you considered remortgaging? If you're in a long term fix, the benefit of the interest rate fix will be gone, as you've 2 years or so 'til it expires. I was looking at mortgages the other day and you could probably take 1.2% of that on a shorter fix with no product fees :)
