The heart of the home or a polluting monstrosity?
Anyway it is clean and warming up.

Oh my, I now have aga envy! Have wanted one since forever but we'd have to rip out a chunk of the fitted kitchen (already here when we moved) to accommodate one and it probably isn't worth it as it's just 2 of us most of the time. Beautiful job of the cleaning up though (and the brown sofa) ... you're getting so much done!
And happy anniversary, hope you had a fun curry for two this evening! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks everyone. Lovely meal and evening out.
Naughty aga smoked the house out so I had to put it out again. Bad form to give the babysitter carbon monoxide poisoning.
We have guests coming Sat and I don't fancy cooking for nine on the baby belling.0 -

Does it always smoke or is it because it hasn't been used for a while?
Squirrel xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Thanks Radish.
Squirrel it doesnt normally smoke. Think maybe I let too much oil in unlit and its just burning off. I will try again later if time. Dont want to leave it on unattended with puppylove at home.
Puppylove is traumatised enough having suffered sexual harassment and a kick in the head from ponyplops courtesy of an escaped staghound puppy.0 -
Hugs for poor puppy love.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Blimey that's a beauty, shame it's not more efficient so you can spend more time using and admiring it.

It isn't the first time a nice pony has delivered a hoof to the head and it won't be the last!
Aga is a doddle to cook on. It will be fine when its going again. Operator error I'm afraid.0
