    Hey Red Squirrel!

Yesterday we had our annual open air service. Methodists meet C of E!! It was lovely and the first time in years it hasnt been rained off...well inside anyway.

Plans afoot to beautify our back yard, which is really a yard and very small and messy.

Bad news on the homebrew front. For the first time ever we have had a batch that was off. Not clear why.

Overcooked the beans catching up on the sofa transformation. Impressive. Am a fan of dying after dying t-shirts here. Sorry about the light fitting though. Any chance of finding a replacement part? or was it beyond hope?
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    Your poor beans!

I broke two light fittings. Just the glass bit is £87 for two with delivery. Our house has a weird thing going on with lights. Three pendants in the ceiling in each reception. Showing off cos we were one of the first to get leccy in the village.

    Thanks Tilly. Looks like

    Nit treatment DD2
Move a ton (nearly) of bricks
    Lunch
    Ponyplops out
    Get smalls ready for babysitter
    Out for a curry.

With the two smallest I cleaned the water butt and put a new tap on it yesterday. Puppylove had chewed the tap off. Pleased with that bit of progress.

The heart of the home or a polluting monstrosity?

Anyway it is clean and warming up.

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
