  • Go for it. There are enlightened of you to snuggle up together and keep warm at night. Grab that control and keep it.

Ohh....ohhh... jumping up and down with excitement. I love the idea of buying land and living in a mobile home. Well - actually - I would have a log cabin. I seriously want to this. We could invest any left over money after selling our house. Means I would not have to work. Ponies, dog and I would be so happy.

The word enthusiastic does not describe Mr Watty sadly.

Which is why my plan doesn't have legs ...at the moment.... I am not giving up hope.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I am facing the same opposition!

Forgot bank holiday so calls will not get done until tomorrow.

Did do 6 pieces of moderation though.

My bf bought herself 2 plots (adjourned) a few years ago, she then bought a static van and built stables. She and her kids sleep at the field most weekends and also a lot of the holidays, it's only about 15 minutes from her house. We have also stayed several times in tents, usually following boozey barbeques... she keeps getting more horses though, now up to 5!

Thanks guys for your kindness. Teaching is the best job in the world. The problem is rarely ever people under 18!!

Just looking for land to buy so we can sell up and be mortgage free. DH is objecting strenuously to living in a mobile home.

Really sorry that the bullying is as rife in the Staffroom as it is in the playground ... I have a theory that any staff room is full of exactly the same dynamics and personalities as the playground: the bossy ones, the look-at-me ones, the bullies, the sycophants, the quiet plodders, the put upon and those just trying to keep their head down and get through it ... but without the excuse of the hormones (well, mostly)! I hope an escape route pops up soon.

Speaking of which, love the plan, hope Mr A comes round to it soon! X
