Barely seem to have time to post at the moment. Roll on Easter hols.

That's what you say, but actually you've been doing a fab job of keeping up with the grateful posts. I'm impressed.

Well done for surviving your parents' evening. Glad you had nice students and parents at yours. I had lots of nice ones and one parent who seemed to think I was substandard and not good enough to be teaching their amazing offspring, but I think I got through it diplomatically enough.

It is funny that often those awkward ones are the ones whose kids go to bed at 3am and they are then surprised at the child's lack of progress.

Alchemilla, your diary is fantastic, I have been sitting here PMSL (as the kids used to say).

In honour of reading the entire thing and in recognition of the fact that you make loads of comments on my diary but I haven't reciprocated properly, here are the 5 Alchemilla posts/comments/trends that I am grateful for today.
    1. The fact that I thought you'd stopped talking about ponies (but then came roaring back!)
    2. The fact that yours is the only diary I've seen that has used the word 'baroque'
    3. The fact that one of your reasons for being grateful was the fact that you aren't Chris Huhne
    4. The post where you said your DH was being a d*ck and was going to get hit with a bottle of wine
    5. Being yourself

    Have a lovely evening :)

Obviously they are hyper-active and you are failing to stimulate the little loves :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Clearly.
Maybe someone needs to suggest teachers do something extra like ....insert random thing we already do here.
Gally did you read any Dave Ramsey yet?

Before 8 we had bottled 28.5 bottles of pinot grigio.
    Yum.
We have three potential neddies to look at.

Heard yesterday that an ex colleague died in a car car crash on the way to work last week.
    Early 40's and so nice.
