    So last night spent a whole hour watching DH trying to load a DVD into our 5 month old TV/DVD that is #3 from J Lewis....then when he finally loaded it I fell asleep.
    Good thing since up in the night with DD2 who was sick all night and hasn't stopped.
    Inordinately stressed about work, out of all proportion. Need to get a grip. I am doubting my ability to do things I have been doing for 20 years.
    There may be a pony possibility...watch this space. Also found someone with a very competetive quote for stables.

    Today I am grateful for
    * the fact that noone else has the bug yet
    * that we have spare bedding!
    * Mr A selling duvets for a fiver
    * DD1 went to a party and had fun
    * I got the speech therapy referral form sent off.

    Hope the bug leaves the rest of you alone, and that DD is better soon.

    Do you think tiredness is contributing to the doubts? It certainly makes me feel less able to cope with life in general and work too.

    You are most certainly right. Last week we were in bed by 10.30 most nights and Thursday was 8.30, but we are up with Baby at 5.30 quite often but in any case we get up at 6 as DH leaves for work at 7.30.

    Still show me a parent of young children who isn't tired!!

    DD2 is on the mend, but she said the room was spinning this morning. Managed to get some oral rehydration salts in her. She had a 20p that she kept putting in her mouth, which I told her not to, but she carried on, and I wish I'd taken it off her as I think potentially she picked up bugs from that.

    Well, I know I have kept my diary for at least a month now.

    Manic day culminating in a vast Mr A delivery. They (all the online big 3) drive me mental with their substitutions. Sainsbots worst though, as they always charge you full whack for the sub which is inevitably dearer.

    DD2 has eaten something which is an improvement. I have soooo much schoolwork to do now and every night this week.

    Today I am grateful for
    * DD2 is on the up
    * noone else has caught it yet
    * sunshine
    * fatgittas for dinner
    * I have finally finished the washing.

    Yep, default setting for us too. Reckon I might catch up on some sleep when the youngest turns 18 (only another 15 and half years to go then!)

    But by then we will be into the "we're older so don't sleep very well" stage of life, so basically I reckon I'll be tired for the rest of my life...yawn.

    Ah well, you die in bed. (Cheerful expression of my Mother's).

    Today has been an obstacle course of manicness, still have a sick 5 year old and maybe 2 year old is suffering too.

    Today I am grateful for
    * my parents (so so grateful)
    * the nice kids at school
    * as above the ones who came to my lunchtime activity
    * DH who is doing my dog walk so I can mark
    * trades unions.
