Just think of the Fleabay challenge being as something you do on your "easier" days ~ you can't possibly count it as failing if you don't do it after a long and quite likely hideous day at school.
You are of course excused the challenge in its current form! Instead, make it an "as and when" challenge, like NSDs, sometimes it's something you can do, sometimes something just gets in the way of it.
Therefore ...

Awww thanks guys.
Last night I lost my keys. You know, the ones that mean you can do your job, with your photocopying card, pen drive, whistle (or is it just me?!)
Anyway they were handed in this avo. THANK GOODNESS.0 -
Hey Al - i think that sarnie you had sounds delicious too
i love wholegrain mustard om nom nom
Phew! to the recovery of the keys - i remember losing mine in a library once and when i got them back the woman working there witheld them until she'd finished giving me a lecture on 'being more careful' because yes of course, what i really wanted to so was to lose my house and car keys! :rotfl:
Bay of e - there is no way i could or would want to face listing daily. When i've got the comp on and when i have time or just want to get it out of the way in 10 mins i open my word document and type up the description of the item i want to sell. When the lights right i photo said item and then do the listings as the FLW come round - i am aiming for 1 a day next month but this will be done with say 5 on satday and 5 on sunday and so on - so spending time on the days i have more time. It is an achievable target you've set but a stretch too if its for all of march as well that'll be over 30 items - you will catch up with itCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hello,
I agree. Just going to work is enough. Anything else is very good going. Many thanks for your kind words on my diary.
XPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Agree with all the folk chipping in here. Stop thinking failure - you worked hard, you did what you could. Tis enough.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Thanks for your support chaps (cue unreconstructed stand-up comedian joke).
DH is the big 50 today. He has had jeans, a big weekend away and a promise of getting a posh inherited watch mended.
Is that enough?
