Good luck with it all GUO, it does sound like a lot of work but I am sure once it has been sorted out and split that all the effort will seem worth it, that you will be able to get back on track with your budget and be able to sort out the Halifax problems.
I'm sure most people want to throw as much at the debt as possible but I think having a realistic budget so you are not struggling each month is more important, I think you are doing the right thing by reviewing the figures.

Speaking of interest...I finally got a letter back from my second creditor who was charging me interest. They've basically said tough this is what we're going to charge you deal with it and we won't tell you why.
So, because this is over half the payment I make going on interest and the debt is still over the total cc limit while all the rest of my cc debts are now under the amount limit i was originally given, I'm inclined to take it to the FOS, what do you think?0 -

Bad news and we are here for support too because that is what this thread is all about.
As I am now officially listed in black and white on a certain register can that be my good news moment for this week
I have to say Barclaycard don't always get a great time on here but they certainly didn't mess around with admitting defeat over all of this and have written to inform me they are basically going to leave me alone now, which of course they are required to do now I am officially insolvent.

I'd like to be officially something, officially debt free would be nice but that's a couple of years away yet. I am however still officially a financial numpty for having got into this mess:DDMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

I can only put it down to an out of mind experience as to why I got involved with the ex that led to my financial downfall in the first place....
Quite a few of my female DCA friends could see the possibilities of such a thing when swapping ex from hell stories. It was also a superb diversionary tactic of discussing the real reason they were calling

Well in my case not a lot of them got in touch at all, some it took about a month. If you don't hear anything and they keep accepting your payments then I think you can take it as accepted.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421
