Without stating the bleedin obvious the Chinese are industrious and hardworking on the whole and I imagine Canada would have been very selective about who migrated to their country whereas the UK can do no such thing come 1 January 2014, is that not a big enough difference for you ?0 -

Only the usual suspects. And they are misinterpreting the title because it suits their agenda. I guess they thought they would try a different tactic for once than shouting "bigot!" "xenophobe!". But it hasn't really worked so somebody has already started that.As to citing Migration Watch, they are hardly likely to undermine their entire raison d'être!
Migration watch are a respected organisation, their data is taken seriously by the government ad they don't really have a bias - you are talking rubbish.Most studies of immigration show positive benefits to an economy
No they don't. Graham posted a study recently from Parliament that could find no connection between immigration and benefit to the economy. But it was ignored, by the usual suspects, before they went back to their usual tactics shouting "bigot!", "closet racist!".0 -
