Ok, this is a serious money saving question for a change.
If you had bought and paid for half a dozen Findus 'Beef' Lasagnes and they were in your freezer would you still eat them or throw them away?

If you like the taste of them enough to buy 6 in the first place then why should it matter now that you know what is in them?
If the announcement had not come, you would have eaten and enjoyed them as you have always done.0 -
Waste not, want not. I'm for eating them.Don't know what the big deal is really, it's just another animal you're eating...... horse, cow, bull, dear, pig...... whatever.......0

I don't get the fuss either... most of the time you buy cheap sausages/burgers/etc. you are going to be eating minced up entrails, ears, noses and all other manner of leftover bits that no one would ever buy in isolation. Personally I avoid these products because of all that crap... having a bit of horse in there is much less stomach turning!!Always overestimating...0

Waste not, want not. I'm for eating them.Exactly!! And sure how long has it been in the food anyway?! Just coz they've only found it recently doesn't mean we haven't already been eating it for years and years! And we're all still alive and kickingWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

Don't know. It isn't the idea of horse meat that squicks me out, it's that they don't know if the horses have been treated with vet drugs that shouldn't be in human food. So it isn't the source of the meat but the question mark over its safety that bothers me.
It'd pain me to throw away usable food, but I wouldn't be happy taking that risk. (At least now I know there's a risk, how long have we been eating this stuff unknowingly?)Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
