Would have thought that after 12 months they may have improved service? Are they still as bad? Anybody got a more uptodate experience?

after months of hassling them and threatening legal action to Talk talk by broadband is now okay. it has been okay since about start of this year. otherwise before that it was like a lottery in knowing if i could get the net to work or not. know its pretty reliable maybe odd drop in service every other week for a few mins.
i think TT had a problem with my connection at the exchange and either the repair man at the exchange was not doing his job properly or they did not invest to order the parts/cables needed to connect me up correctly.

They are totally useless, three months now and nothing happened.
My ex-wife and I sent the form and after many phone calls, I was advised to send another form!!!
They cannot get their act together, never mind their call centre is in India; moreover, whatever you say, they read back from a script, not listening to a single word...
  • I have recently signed up for talk talk's Essentials product, which is line rental and broadband for £15.85 per month, I read on MSE's latest email that you can get the same deal if you follow the talk talk link on Martin's page to 'Top 10 link', but also get £60 worth of tesco gift vouchers. I phoned talk talk and asked them why I should not cancel my recent deal with them, and re sign with Top 10? After some deliberation, they agreed to credit my account with £50. If anyone has signed with talk talk, but is not yet connected, a call to their cancellation department could save you a few quid,
    worth a try
