Which tablet would you recommend?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a tablet/iPad to use mainly at home to browse the internet and watch iPlayer etc. I would be using it occasionally on the road too but I could use my iPhone as a hotspot. Any recommendations as to which tablet I should get?

Main apps that I would need are Email, Dropbox, app to edit word documents, iPlayer, and a browser.

4th for the N7, theres apps for everything you pointed out in your OP. You don't mention if there's a budget you would like to stick too so is there 1 ? The nexus is reasonably priced imo.

Nexus 7 has a front facing camera, so ideal for skype.

As to iplayer, you looking to download the programs or watch them online. As far as i am aware, there is no android tablet which will allow you to download and watch at a later date. This the iPad does though.

If you don't need a full size table (if you do then the iPad still beats the nexus 10 imo, although the Nexus 10 v2 is out soon) then a N7 is great. I have both iPad and N7 and the N7 is really good for most things other than serious work.
