Thought I'd let you know that I...gave him another chance :o. I know, I know :o...but hear me out.

Nearly two weeks after, (during which time I'd avoided him like the plague, without explaining anything to him :o) a bunch of us were at a friends housewarming and he was there. I was just very polite and just tried to avoid him while he made these puppy dog eyes at me :(. I felt really guilty and had a brief chat with him. Next thing, I headed to the kitchen to get a drink and he came out of the toilet and we collided in the hall. I noticed that he was wet all down his t-shirt and part of his jeans and smelled peculiar. He was also bright red and looked at me as though he just wanted the ground to swallow him up.

I asked him what the hell had happened to him and he said, "I stink of Listerine. I brought a travel sized bottle with me, couldn't get it open then ended up spilling it all over me." Then there was the world's most awkward silence. I realised our mutual friend must have told him his breath stank and thats why I'd been avoiding him. I'd also noticed earlier in the night that he smelled DIVINE (Eternity for Men :D). He'd upped his ante. Anyway...my heart went out to him and I tried to make him laugh so he wouldn't feel as bad. We chatted just the two of us throughout the night and I realised just how shy he was and I felt really sorry for him so I agreed to a second date.

Second date...after about an hour (during which he managed to relax a bit), he tried to kiss me again. This time, he sort of judged the timing a bit better so I pretty much realised he was about to kiss me in advance so it didn't come out of nowhere like before. However, as minty fresh and gorgeous smelling as he was, his technique was still awful. I felt like a cow being milked and he bit me. And not in a good way .

I think it was the Calvin Klein that made me take a deep breath, grab him and kiss him the way I like to be kissed. And, lucky for me, he turned out to be a pretty fast learner. My Post-Grad in Psychology also came in really handy as I used Conditioning to train him :D. Everytime he'd do something I didn't like, I'd pull away and push him back a bit. When he did something I DID like, I pulled him closer and...erm... rewarded him. It turns out my bosses were right. I really do have a gift for teaching. I stopped short of giving him a smiley face sticker though.

A few weeks on and would you believe this boy is now one of the best kissers I've ever known?

Sadly...as much fun as we've had making out, he's just a bit too immature for me. He's only 24 but seems even younger than that and things aren't really going anywhere. However, we are going to stay friends (WITHOUT benefits, thank you) and I release him into the world knowing that I have done womankind a great favour :D. He'll make the next girl he kisses go weak at the knees.

And thank you from womankind in general, for your sterling services to kissing.....

This has made me laugh for the first time today, so thank you again.

Oh I do like a happy ending - karma will reward you for your services to your fellow woman.

ETA: Actually you could make this something of a mission?

Youve probably done a whole lot of good for his confidence too.

On behalf of the entire female gender... Thank you
    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    Mission? I'm intrigued...What kind of mission? ;)

It's actually improved MY confidence alot too. I'd become more and more detached and disillusioned and in lots of ways I'd stopped feeling like a woman, I was just existing and felt really unfanciable. We've had alot of fun and he made me feel a bit sexier. And he now thinks he's a total stud which is really pretty cute.

Do you know what? I really can't take all the credit - I owe alot to Mr Klein. I swear that stuff is like catnip to me.

Well, I've often been told that I'd have to kiss alot of frogs before I found a prince and have to say, I feel quite confident I've manage to transform this one. Ok, he isn't MY prince but I pretty sure that he will make some other girl very happy ;).
