I have tried with Flylady but am the world's laziest person and simply can't get myself organised to do a single babystep every day. I take a big giant monster step about once every four or five weeks instead...
I must admit I like the vinegar in the washing machine thingy, though the soapnuts I bought don't really appeal to me. They have done quite a few washes, but for some reason I don't think they are washing anything even though things aren't dirty after coming out of the machine - think it must be a psychological block of some sort there.
Quasar, like you I'm not good at making my own lunches and making them last until lunchtime. It's not so bad now as I work on a supermarket till so can't whip out my sandwiches when I feel like it, but invariably I'll have a nibble during my morning teabreak.
HariboJunkie, hope you enjoy your meal....
"It's funny how for a lot of us life is just to short to make pastry. Well that and the fact that when I make it it's inedible.:o
"However..... If Queenie comes on here and tells me she buys ready made pastry I'll eat my microfibre cloths."
Quoted from HariboJunkie's other thread cos I'd hate to think anybody would miss it...

I started a thread like this a while ago like this and I made a bet with myself which I would now have to follow through.

Of course I make my own pastry; your cloths are safe. We don't eat a lot of pastry based foods so it's not arduous or difficult.
D12yo had to make a quiche at food tech yesterday and when he re read the instructions (ie half hour before leaving!) it said to take in enough pastry for their chosen dish. Home made pastry was taken inHis quiche got 9/10.

I still use my breadmaker for dough, for pizzas and white rolls - but not for bread. I prefer Braces bread and any brand wholemeal/granary rolls.
I've never used a slowcooker or stardrops
I don't like yogurt made with the yogurt maker but mr tru does. But he can't be bothered to use it so he buys yogurt in Aldi.
IN MY DEFENCE I use soda crystals, vinegar and a steam cleaner and we grow our own veg. Fruit bushes are doing well too, just waiting for them to sprout berriesHome haircuts and dyeing. I avoid supermarkets unless I'm absolutely desperate, they're evil places

I have never really got on with my slow cooker and only really use it to steam the Christmas pud in. I find stews and casseroles come out better in an oven when some moisture has evaporated and concentrated the flavours.
Like Ruby the BM started me off on hand baking which I do a lot of. I gave the machine away.
I also find growing my own veg a let down -it's the slugs that really get me down. I'm better with fruit as it tends to look after itself, although something's eating my gooseberries again:mad:
I'm afraid I tend to use commercial cleaning products too. I don't buy many (don't do much cleaning really  ).0 -
Just to add I don't do the flylady thing either- I really don't find cleaning that inspiring so can't get excited about it and my house is pretty organised anyway. I'd rather spend my time cooking0

flylady i like the tread but it takes me all week to do mondays list.
i tend to look now and pick the jobs i need to do.
love stardrops and my slowcooker.
gave the breadmaker to the charity shop as everyone was complaing its not warbartons. At last I have a signature.0 -
I confess to not doing the flylady regime either! I like freedom of choice - to do things my own way at my own pace.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I bought a slow cooker 18 months ago and have used it twice. I don't know why, it's just not something that inspires me. I also tried cheap washing powder & conditioner but have gone back to brand names - sorry folks, but my clothes are a lot cleaner now and I'm addicted to the smell!0

The easiyo has been used twice. DD will only eat Noddy organic yogs and DH didnt like it and I dont like yogurt full stop.Sorting my life out one day at a time0

Of course I make my own pastry; your cloths are safe.
Phewthank goodness for that
I'm not a big follower of Flylady either, though I like to write lists, so post on the thread from time to time, to motivate myself to get the list done.
We also like a meal out occasionally, though we do cook from scratch most days.
Lynz - so sorry to hear about your veg  Do you have the motivation to try again?
