    I know!!!

But when I warned people that it wasn't to be used as a regular thing and it had been taken out of context ... ... for some reason, they just didn't listen to me :naughty:

It was only ever a tip to use up leftover cola/coke so that you didn't throw it away <--- that was the moneysaving bit, not wasting your cola/coke

Quasar ... :rotfl: no self control :p

Thats what I did and it left it lovely and stained. I ended up with my hand down the loo. That was a pleasant morning. :rotfl:
I can't even find all the stuff to tell me how much I owe.

Slow cooker & breadmaker - cannot get on with either of them. However, having a breadmaker set me on the path of making my own by hand so I musn't complain too much....:D

breadmaker, slow cooker, yoghurt maker e'rm juicer, icecream maker all delegated to the cupboard along with my washable sanitary towels. I seem to spend £60 on shopping whatever i do. Hubby also spends about a tenner on other bits from pound shop and wilkos.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I do most of the old style stuff as I have the time now I am at home! Love my breadmaker, slowcooker, sprouting seeds etc but cannot get on with using vinegar in the washing machine, much prefer the lovely smell of fabric conditioner. I use the vinegar to clean out the gunky draw though!

I have tried with Flylady but am the world's laziest person and simply can't get myself organised to do a single babystep every day. I take a big giant monster step about once every four or five weeks instead...

I must admit I like the vinegar in the washing machine thingy, though the soapnuts I bought don't really appeal to me. They have done quite a few washes, but for some reason I don't think they are washing anything even though things aren't dirty after coming out of the machine - think it must be a psychological block of some sort there.

Quasar, like you I'm not good at making my own lunches and making them last until lunchtime. It's not so bad now as I work on a supermarket till so can't whip out my sandwiches when I feel like it, but invariably I'll have a nibble during my morning teabreak.

HariboJunkie, hope you enjoy your meal....

"It's funny how for a lot of us life is just to short to make pastry. Well that and the fact that when I make it it's inedible.:o

"However..... If Queenie comes on here and tells me she buys ready made pastry I'll eat my microfibre cloths. :D;)"

Quoted from HariboJunkie's other thread cos I'd hate to think anybody would miss it...

i don't like buying cheap jam, coffee or bread. i've tried cheaper versions but really don't like them so i don't buy them. i'd save money but would be miserable drinking my yukky coffee and jammy toast.
