My mom cleaned houses for 23 years and I went with her for most of those. It's second nature to me. I'm fine with clutter, just not dirt (unless it's out in the garden, where it belongs, or just around my plant rack in the kitchen!).
I'm not going to do anything with my diet until I can see a dietitian. I'm going to push as hard as I can to get in to see one and to have regular appointments. I'm also going to stop weighing myself (although the wii fit automatically does it darn it...). Right now for this week I'm eating like normal, just keeping a diary of it. I'm scared that if I lose much weight this week the GP will just say "see, you can do it on your own, you don't need our help!" which will just throw me into a depressed state and I'll gain anything lost back. I know I can do it, I just need constant help, check ups, weigh ins, advice, and support. I also need someone who can work one on one with me to help tailor my foods and activities to what I can eat and what I am able to do at this point. My activity will definitely go up as I lose weight, but right now it hurts to do much!
Found out also that there is no way that I'll ever be able to use the pool without paying £5 every trip. If I had access to a pool for a flat monthly fee, I'd be there 7 days a week like I was in the states! It would be approx £150 per month *just* to swim every day that the pool is available. The GP cannot give anyone a voucher to lower that either. They can help with the cost of a gym membership, but the flippin pool isn't included. :mad:0 -
MrsT looks like you're keeping yourself busy! Dont over do it.
Im not too far from cadburys myself, and know a few people who work there! One always has a cupboard full of bargains from the staff shop! :drool:Mini me due March 2014

Hi everyone
Hugs to Tea, codemonkey and Tinkwings on CD1 :grouphug:
Well done codemonkey and skintchick on the 5:2 fast, I can't find the impetus to do it!
Congrats maire1!
Welcome Gelly, I'm new to the thread (albeit for my second time too), hope we're both only around a short timeGood luck for your scan.
No symptoms to spot here so just keeping away from alcohol and caffeine just in case - saying that, I had no idea I was PG as we weren't really trying last time so I drank loads, DS is a healthy happy boy (albeit a bit of a monkey!).

This is just how I normally react to bad news. I'll either zone out completely and barely move and barely eat for a few days until I snap out of it, or I'll end up working hard until I cannot move to keep my mind off things. At least the working hard is being productive and is getting things done.0 -
Congratulations Betty and Maire! :j :j Sending sticky vibes to you both!
Been enjoying a long weekend holiday at home with OH so been catching up a little on my tablet but no chance to update... and now of course I've forgotten what I wanted to say!
Huge hugs Mrs T_M. Hope this is the incentive to stick to your weightloss goals and you'll be back with us properly sooner rather than later.
Big hugs to the ladies in the wine and chocolate zone and welcome to the newbies!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Massive congratulations Marie :-) I do really hope this will be your take home baby I know how scary it is to hope too though0

It's absolutely terrifying me lemon! To be honest I would have held off testing had it not been for the diabetes. As it is, I need to be in touch with the diabetes team from the outset so had to test!
Every trip to the loo is frightening. Every twinge and pain has me convinced its over.
Hoping I might get a reassurance scan having lost two babies. Not sure of the rules?0 -
Doesn't feel like anything I have done/do makes a difference, right now, or that it's even so fair as to get a "turn"
Thanks though
Couldn't say it better.
Sorry for CD1 Code. I've skipped 5:2 this week as couldn't face not comfort eating! Didn't even weigh myself yesterday as was too busy whinging...
Congrats to the BFPs- hope we all get to join you on the pregnancy boards soon.
AFM: Have booked HSG for 4th March so will be CD15 when I have it. Am not looking forward to it. Don't usually ov until CD22-26 though so hopefully I won't lose this cycle... not that it matters! I've decided that if they tell me the HSG is all clear then I'm going to go and grovel clomid from my GP so that I don't have to wait until FS in May.
OH is on pins and has admitted he won't feel 'right' until he gets all of his SA results which isn't until 18th March. Feel like it's all my fault as I'm the one with endo and apparently PCOS and he's been dragged into testing because of me. He now thinks he will have a problem with the SA results and I feel sick with worry at the idea as I know it wouldn't be something he could deal with. Fertility sucks.
Have started agnus castus and inositol now so will be interesting to see what effect, if any, they have on my cycle. Here's where the AC shortens my cycle and I miss ov because of the HSG...
Too glum to start insanity today. Will do it tomorrow before OH and I go out for a day of enforced fun- apparently crying everytime you change your tampon isn't 'normal or healthy'. :rotfl:
Mrs TM. Please feel free to come to my house to keep yourself busy... I am a total slattern.... :rotfl:0 -
TCD - I started AC last cycle and ov'd so early (for me) that we almost missed it.
Congatulations Marie ad Sweaty Betty. Hope you both have stressfree pregnancies and healthy babies.
Mrs T_M - Big hugs for being told to stop ttc. I think for many of us the road isnot a straight and easy path and we have to fight for the things that we truly want. I hope that the ladies on this thread can help keep you sane and motivated during the low spots.
Welcome Newbies, hope you stay is short as possible;)
afm. Still in the wine zone, there is no more chocolate - I ate it all Sorry! Only two more weeks and I can hopefully get clomid from FS. Was so sure that I wouldn't need it cos I would be pregnant by now:(0 -
Mrs TM is there not a chain gym nearby with a pool? I go to a total fitness which is £40 a month, which is steep but has a belting pool and a hydrotherapy one.
Sorry if I've missed giving love for cd1 code, have a some now
Big hugs tea, I'm sure dh will be fine and you only need one! There's so much they can do for swimmers even if there is a problem and forums are full of couples who have managed to get their sperm quality to improve.
Grr my sex panda has just complained that we've not done it in two weeks. Why is he never enthusiastic at the right time? Lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
