Have a wonderful time at your wedding and on your honeymoon Disney! :)

We have someone coming over to repaint the ceiling where the tub leaked a couple weeks ago this afternoon, so I've been washing up, sweeping, and vacuuming my heart out. I've finally taken a break to sit down and cool off and hopefully eat breakfast. At least now the downstairs is presentable! I'm out of washing up liquid (again)...

I've really let the cleaning slip while I was sick and now with the darn apples. DH wants me to make some cornish pasties today, so I'll probably get started on them soon. I'm also going to make a gigantic pot of mash so that we can have some tonight with gravy plus enough to cover a cottage pie or two.

As far as the ttc goes, we bd'ed the day before I oved, but nothing else. I'm not really counting the one in the tent while at the festival, that was far too early and just for fun anyway. Our fan has finally broken and we can't afford another one at the moment, so it's uber hot now. Especially with DH being a little radiator in bed!

Anyway, I'd best be off for a bit to try and cook before the repair man comes. At least we don't have to pay for it, it comes out of our rent as a maintenance fee. :)

  • Hi everyone.

I am now 2 days late but I have held out testing because I know that the 100mg of clomid this cycle will be the cause. Not knowing still gives you that little bit of hope.

I am going to test on Saturday and see what happens (if the witch has not arrived by then).

I have the peace of mind knowing that I will get my FS referral done on monday so at least I can start getting the help that we are going to need.

Hope you are all well - hugs for CD1 and have patience for those in the 2ww xxx

  • Hope you have a wonderful wedding Disney! I did have a read about that stuff and it doesn't look like it should affect pregnancy, other than of course delaying your AF and hence OV.
  • Hi all,

Have a lovely wedding and honeymoon Disney.

The scan was ok yesterday it finished so quickly
Any how the sonigrapher found a cyst in my right ovary and said that
    It may be endo.

Have any of you ladies have experience of
It ? Can it be treated? What are chances on
    Concieving with endo?

Not seeking medical advice just some suggestion
    From people with this condition

Hi ladies just popping on to report something I read in Glamour magazine this month as I know lots of you are doing various things to loose weight & I know some of you had mentioned the 5:2 diet before.

There is an article in there about how some early studies are showing that the 5:2 diet could have negative effects on fertility. So if any of you are doing that particular diet, perhaps have a read and see what you think.

Very short summary - starving your body for 2 days a week isn't good ovulation wise and positive effects of this diet has mainly looked/been tested by men & therefore this wasn't looked at.

Hi Everyone, sorry not been about all week. It's all go here, getting married Saturday. I've taken a test and BFN so I've started to take the tablets to stop AF arriving Saturday so that's me out this month as don't think my chances of conceiving taking them are very good.

I don't think I've missed much but big hugs to anyone that needs one. Can I guess 4 BFP this month please.

This is probably me signing off until after I come back from honeymoon now, so hope you all have a lovely month.

    xxx

Congratulations! Hope everything goes well for you!

Thank you for having me ladies, I really liked the sense of community here but I need to bow out of this thread I'm sorry. I really wish everyone the best in concieving xxx
  • Thanks Marywooyeah - I wish you all the luck in the world x

No joy with DH last night - at the end of the day I cant force him..Really upset me though and is getting me down, now I feel we have now missed out on this cycle. He would just think I am silly for feeling like this but then again he doesn't really understand how short a period you have to conceive each cycle :( He will just be thinking - oh we have BD loads this month!!
Anyway - am off out tonight with some friends so hopefully that will cheer me up.
