  • chocoholic chick - I have had the conversation where I literally explained how a baby is 'made' - but I think it needs to be reinforced as I don't think he truly believed me!! In all fairness, he has got a very manual job and plays a lot of sport so is usually exhausted during the week, that's why I want to ovulate during the weekend!! - would be much better timing, therefore will never happen.
Sorry - you feel like AF is coming.

Picklekin - hope you have more luck this cycle than me! - you sound positive.

Well had my cd21 blood done yesterday, but opk's still haven't detected ov so guessing the progesterone won't be detected! Discovered they're also testing my thyroid, which could explain me wanting to sleep all day (chance would be a fine thing with a toddler!) :(

My cbfm hasn't been asking for sticks this month - any idea why?

I've only just realised that I won't now have a 2013 baby & it's really upset me that the probable age gap between my DD & her sibling is geting ever bigger. Stupid thing to worry about when there are bigger things in the world, but I'm just in that kinda mood.

Hugs to all those on CD1 & fingers crossed for those waiting xx

  • Have reposted in here cos i need to talk lol.... usually post on trying for 12months plus board but its just so quiet :(

Ao, Arghhh My cycle (after years of being just "normal 25 day cycle) has gone crazy

Normally I am 25 day cycle and about 2 day bleed, lasting at VERY most 4 days.

August AF arrived a tad early (19th August) and then proceeded to last (heavily for me) for 5 days

Weird enough.... Then we BD on my first fertile day (26th August) and not again (knackered, on holiday etc ect lol) .. so AF isn't due by MY reckoning until about 14th September. Yet on Wednesday, had cramping SO badly it felt like she was going to arrive MEGA early (also head headache, backache, Diarrhea and felt very very hot - it wasnt dodgy tummy cramps btw lol) . It wasnt OV cramps as they are always very light and I had had that already on first fertile day (26th)..... Although it has eased, its still crampy now. !!!!!! is going on!? Grrrrr
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Sorry, not sure I have any answers for you!

So 19th August was CD1 for you? So 26th August would be CD7, do you normally ovulate that early in your cycle? Do you have any other underlying medical conditions that could maybe be causing your unusual cycles, or has it been a particularly stressful time?
