Thank you everyone for all of the hugs and get better soon wishes. I am feeling much better today, but I don't know how long it will last. I've removed the plum stones from the plum puree that's getting made into plum butter, I've done one load of laundry and put it outside to dry, and I've washed the dishes. I figure, work while I can, rest when I need to do so. I'm going to try and get as much done as I can though, since I've severely fallen behind on everything!

  • Not on top form today - last night, had what felt like a kick in the stomach when a friend announced she's pregnant on FB - only got married 1 year ago and not the most mature person - out partying until silly o'clock in the morning despite being mid 30's (not saying you should stop but we just lead very different lives)

Ended up going to bed in tears last night - HB comforted me but it still hurts so much. Have been trying 10 months now and not even a TLP.

Have got our holiday to look forward to then once we're back, we have a 1 month wait until we can go back to the doctors and start taking things further and looking into why it's not happening for us.

Off to give myself a slap now - get a grip woman!

  • First month of offically TTC and a question please ladies

I got a peak on my OPK on Thursday, we BD on Sunday morning

Have we missed it or are we still in with a chance?

I will predict 4 BFPS for September

    xx

Does anyone know the answer to the above? We DTD on Thursday, the day I got the peak and Sunday morning

Hopefully still in with a chance this month
  • Chelsea I use OPK ( pee sticks ), from what I understand once you test positive you normally ovulate within about 24 hours so ideally the sperm should be there waiting for the egg to be released. I think Sunday would be too late but BD on the day of the peak is good. I normally try to BD when I start getting fertile CM and start using OPK around that time, then try to make sure we BD on the day we get the positive OPK and the day after.

If you don't already try using something like fertility friend, I find it very useful :D

Trying not to symptom spot but Ive had a strange feeling in my lower left side this morning. But Im sure thats just wishful thinking.
Surely you dont start getting symptoms 4 days after ovulation :o

Please can I be added to the 2WW list xx

:naughty: symptom spotting not allowed here! ;) 4DPO would certainly be too early to have any symptoms so just *shudder* relax and bolt yourself in for the 2WW... :) As someone else mentioned earlier- fertilityfriend.com is really good for charting your cycle. Even if you don't temp it lets you record positive OPKs, cm, 'symptoms' etc. so that eventually you can see patterns in your cycle that will stop you from knicker twitching in the 2WW. :)
  • :rotfl:knicker twitching

Funny I was just thinking I'm not remotely interested in testing early this month, normally I'm itching to POAS but I think after months of disappointment I'm no longer going to try to imagine every little thing could be a sign I'm pregnant, it's too stressful and I just end up hugely disappointed when I get a BFN and AF arrives. She should be due her monthly visit this weekend, no matter how many times I tell her she's not welcome and pretend I'm not in, she still turns up :rotfl:So if she's not here by Sunday only then will I test!!

Mrs_T_M - Glad you're feeling a bit better today, even on your off days you still get more done than me!! Put's me to shame :o
