mrs_t_m sorry I've just realised I'm in the 'not heard from for a while' list. I'm still around and no news. I'm having to take some time out to deal with everything that has happened over the last year. I have been informed that the doctors won't help me with any tests or take anything further for a while (been advised to leave going for tests for about another year) as the Doctor's would just deem me to be a risk of having Post Natal depression if I got pregnant. Obviously if it happens naturally they would offer all the help they can, but won't help me get pregnant in the first place.

So we have took some time out but are giving it another go starting from next month. Most of the time now I don't believe I'm ever going to be a mummy, and in a horrid way I've semi accepted it now.

I know the feeling. I am starting to accept that it really may not happen, and in a strange way I am coming to terms with it. I'm starting to think that at 37 maybe I can't cope with 20 years or so of child raising!

Internal scans are quite easy, and relatively unembarassing. Once they slide the camera is, then all focus is on the screen and you are fully covered up. Make sure you partner sits next to you at the head of the bed if he is there. My DH sat 'below' once, and I think he is still slightly traumatised by it!

It's hard when people have babies - you are happy for them, but in many ways its just so painful to go and visit. My good friend knows our problems, and wants to keep us involved so we can be a close aunt and uncle, but sometimes it's just too much to go visit. I have a present I am making for her that requires about 30more minutes of work, but it's like I have a mental block and just won't finish it so I'm giving myself an excuse to not got.

    Part Mouse

hugs. Not much more to add, but hope you are coping.

tea lover Cheers for the prediction! I will do what I can for you.

Hi everyone, back from hols and just about over the jetlag now. Had a lovely time and feeling refreshed and positive for a new month at least. Got a positive on OPK yesterday and BD'd yesterday and day before and will again tonight.

Catloverbex - fingers crossed for you - when are you testing again?

Part Mouse - so sorry you are feeling pants x

Mrs TM, thanks for doing the lists (thanks to everyone who did the lists whilst Mrs TM was away too), please can I be updated to 0DPO. I am also guessing at 6 BFPs for September (though am hoping Tea Lover is correct!). Mrs TM, you have also inspired me to start foraging too and we have a haul of blackberries and apples from yesterday that I'm going to stew down for crumbles and freeze!

Hugs to everyone else that needs them and hope you are all ok xxx

Hi everyone! Can I be updated to CD1 on the list please? Had spotting all day yesterday and af arrived with a vengeance in the night - it's a painful one! Not too disappointed as it would have been a miracle this cycle. Getting results on Friday for the CT scan, so should be just in time to start trying properly again assuming nothing is wrong. Can I also guess 7bfp for the month please?

Catloverbex - Ooh, it all sounds very promising for you this month! Have my fingers crossed.

Mrs T M - You are a busy lady! Love reading about all your foraging/home type stuff, makes me feel all warm and cosy inside! Hope you're feeling better soon, sounds like a nasty cold.

Loveactually - Another experienced dildocam person here! I've found that the thought of it is usually far worse than the actual experience. Never found them painful, just a bit uncomfortable. You'll have a sheet to put over you to hide your modesty a bit. Good luck, hope it all goes well.

Part Mouse - Good luck for your tests and scan, be thinking about you.

  • Hey ladies...

Can I guess 7 bfps for September please...sorry can't change colour on my tablet.

So began Angus castus this month, taken it for 6 days now, no side effects as yet, except *sorry tmi* illuminous wee. :rotfl:
So with Angus castus, pregnacare and my higher dose of folic acid, I must be rattling when walking. Persuading oh to take the man version too :o

Sophiasmum.... You asked about ovulation, I'm trying Angus castus this month, started from CD 1 and you stop when you ovulate. I didnt ovulate until Cd31 last month so giving it back go. Will let you know how I get on.

    Xxxxx

Ended up going back to bed because I felt like I was falling asleep while standing up at about 9:30, and I didn't wake until 2:30! I really don't know what's up with my sleeping. The doctor says for me to not sleep during the day, but I obviously need it in addition to the small amount of sleep I get at night if I keep taking marathon naps, right? I don't have diabetes, and my medication has leveled out and shouldn't be making me sleepy.

I was supposed to go grocery shopping today too! Meh, oh well. Having a menu plan is worthless if you can't be flexible with it. I'll just figure out something else to cook for dinner tonight.

For your entertainment, here is my tablet list this morning (and remember, I'm not really trying! This is just habit).

    2 Vitamin E
    2 Folic Acid
    1 CoQ10
2 Magnesium, calcium and Vitamin D
    1 slow release vitamin B
    1 Evening primrose oil
    2 Royal Jelly.
1 cup of horrible tasting chinese medicine stuff.

I have Soy, but I've stopped taking it as it makes me ovulate too early.

I need to set aside specific time in my morning routine to get all of them out! And I suspect I have missed one off that list...
