Morning ladies

Please excuse me if this is TMI but I'm confused, can a visit from AF be this short?? Obviously yesterday I said I was CD1, I went to the loo in the morning and when I wiped there was a smallish amount of blood. I put a tampon in and thought right obviously AF is here. When I changed the tampon later there was nothing on it, or the one after or since. Could I have possibly had the lightest AF ever? It's normally 2 - 3 days for me so this is a bit odd? ( though this seems to have been the theme for that cycle :rotfl: )

I also wanted to ask a question! I'm on CD9 but AF is still ongoing I never had time of the months as long as this before, I'm guessing its because of coming off the pill and my mc last month. what I want to know is, on the fertility planner thing it says my fertile days are this coming mon/tues/weds. assuming AF is still going to be here does that mean iv missed my window for the month if we don't BD? I don't really like the idea of...during...but it's another whole month! confused.

fireyfirenze - My fertile days vary each month, just checked on FF and my ovulation days have varied between CD 15 and CD 27 so what I do is when I start getting CM start doing OPK then and go off that, if I relied on when my chart said I was fertile it would be wrong alot of the time!

Sophiasmum I've done a few tests, I think the last one was at 15DPO and was still negative so pretty certain im not pregnant, this whole cycle was just weird, I'm not even sure I should be using tampons now when there's nothing there?! FF has now got me at CD2 because obviously I put I had light bleeding yesterday when I wiped that one time but then nothing. Very odd!

chocoholic_chick I'd change ff from light bleeding to spotting. CD1 is the first day of full flow. Also if there's only a light flow stop using tampons - not only will it irritate your lady bits but it's a TSS risk. Hope AF stays away.

I tell you our bodies are strange things - sounds like your body is playing tricks on you Best wait for CD1 properly before using tampons etc. How confusing!

Firey Firenze - I had an unusually long af for the first one after my mc. Not fun - Ive been all over the place ever since which is why I started to use OPKs. (Though to be honest that's a bit hit and miss with me - probably why Im still on this thread!!)

Yeah I've not used any after posting and had no spotting or anything, did another test just incase, still negative so I guess I'm not CD2 but now 17DPO!!! My LP is always between 12 and 14 days so this is a really long LP, I thought it was always supposed to be the same length? I just wish AF would show up now. I'm obviously not pregnant and this is just really annoying, I want this cycle to be over so we can try again next cycle.

Argh i've now got a horrid tummy bug as well as AF. At least spending the day on the toilet saves on tampons - sorry tmi ! Speaking of the toilet ....
