Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hugs to those on cd 1
I've spent the day either being a evil cow or wanting to cry - think its pms hormones on top of feeling like poo and the heat
Within 2 mins of getting out of bed I'd shouted at the cat and my hubby (in 2 separate events!) Then I cried when hubby went to work as I was on my own again and worried about my asthma, then at work I was rude to another member of staff (it just slipped out) and now I'm back at home just want to cry as I'm on my own again.
Think everything is just getting to me, and I have a hectic 2 weeks at work coming up with a big event that I've organised that HAS to go well.
The royal baby hasn't helped either as its just a reminder of what I haven't managed to do yet...
Sorry for the moan x0 -
:grouphug: for TM forCD1
Can pick some minds regarding the ovulation tracking how do all you keep track of ovulation.
I use clearblue advanced which shows two highs and two definite smiling faces so 4 days in total I also check my CM.
Are these methods enough or can I do anything else like temping etcSaving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -
Hugs for CD1 Mrs TM - lavender jam sounds intriguing
Debs - good news that your tests came back normal, though not so useful if you still don't know why your cycles are irregular
As predicted earlier my hair is now ginger....will attempt to redye tomorrow!! By the time I add up the costs of all the home dye kits I probably could have got it done at the hairdressers!0 -

Thanks for the hug.
I just temp, but, I have a 'normal' length cycle of 26-30 days and I definitely ovulate. When it's not so blooming hot, my temp chart is picture perfect usually.
I notice CM, but I don't track it.
The others use various other methods as well.
Forgot to say, went out to get fish and chips and went by the cherry tree again. Turns out it's a sweet cherry and I'll definitely be going back tomorrow to pick up any decent fallen ones and any that I can jump to pick that are ripe. I probably need to walk down to the pet store to see if the cherry tree on the way there still has any ripe cherries as well.0 -
Tia, if it helps any, I've had a nightmare trying to remove the stupid blue dye from my hair. It's supposed to be semi-permanent but it will not leave. I've used vosene, hot oil, vitamin c shampoo and colour b4 and bleached it twice and I still have random blue bits and a slightly green tinge.
loveactually I do the same as you with opks and cm. I've tried temping but the first time I just got nonsense and this cycle has been odd and I actually hate doing it.
loulou I've been grumpy all day too.
The weather has broken here. The dog thinks the best way to deal with thunder is to bark at it.
By the way, I've had a couple of requests so if anyone would like to read my blog on not getting pregnant pm me for the address. Its not all that entertaining tbh.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Lots of posts to catch up on today!
Mrs TM - thanks for doing the lists and hugs for CD1. Also please adopt me so I can come and live with you and eat all your lovely canned stuff. I make jam now and again but only very basic stuff. Lavender jelly sounds amazing, I have a huge lavender bush in the garden, I might look into that.
Love Actually - I use opks (internet cheapies), and temp every morning and record it on Fertility Friend app on my phone. I've found that temping is the most accurate for me although of course you don't know till it's too late that you've ovulated - but it is at least confirmation that you have.
Loulou - feel free to moan. Big hugs to you and also Faith xxx
159 - are you sure you ovulated when you thought you did?
AFM. I had my first weigh in since re-joining WW and I lost three pounds this week. Not too bad. I've been very good all week, went to the gym five times last week (three times to run, one spin class and one other cardio) and stayed within my points. I have about seven pounds to get under BMI 30 which is the requirement for IVF funding where I live (although of course I want to be well under that). I've been building my running back up again, I'm up to about 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill, and I'm going to start doing weights too. Feeling quite positive about it all and I have bags more energy from the exercise. Also I think I've been completely off caffeine now for three weeks, I never thought I could last this long!0 -
Mrs tm thanks for the lists and so sorry for cd1.
Angel sounds like the gym and ww is really helping, im sure your positivity will really help.
Hugs to anyone needing one.

Come on over! I love making the stuff, but I don't have as many people to give it to as I used to have! Here's what our pantry currently looks like, and I'll probably need to find some wood somewhere and build more shelves in a different room before too long!0 -
Code - I think I'll have to give GOTs another go then....only problem is that I've just started re-reading the Harry Potters so it may be a while until I've finished them! Oh, and I also agree that 50 shades of grey was a pile of w@nk. Don't see what all the hype was and I actually strongly hated Christian. I would love to read your blog! Please can you send me the link?
MrsTm - sorry for cd1Big hugs xxx love your store cupboard! You clever lady!
Loveactually - I don't temp as I have quite disrupted sleep and am forgetful first thing in the morning. I used to use clearblue smily face OPKs but now I have a CBFM. Not sure if a CBFM is any better than the new clearblue smily OPKs tho but I bought mine before they were introduced.
Loulou & Faith - big hugs to you both. I hope you are feeling better xx
Angeltreats - well done on the weightloss and exercise! :T
Tia - good luck with the hair redying! x
159 - fingers crossed that you have a shy bean and you get your BFP soon! x
Ruth - I heard about not ovulating some cycles. I think it happened to me a couple of cycles ago as didn't get a positive opk and my cycle was much longer than usual.
Afm - I'm sat in my hotel room annoyed that I am ovulating and hubby on opposite side of country. Grrrr to work commitments! Keeping my fingers crossed that I can catch the egg tomorrow night.....!

That looks like one yummy store cupboard! I got all set to make some Jam this year out of my strawberries (well I got a thermometer), then they didn't produce the glut I was hoping for...
I don't suppose you've got a courgette jam recipe have you? :P
