Afternoon, finally OV has arrived, line was visibly darker this aft than yesterday. So am 0DP0 today BD last night and will again tonight. Also looking for a different job atm, not sure if good idea with TTC but had enough of where I work, however looking for PT work as needs to fit in with puppy and step children.

My first ever + opk today (it's only the 2nd cycle i've ever used them tho). I think the first cycle i stopped testing too early (yeh i was a little too keen with the poas and used them all up before CD12!). We have been bding for the last 3 days but thankyou Becca for your explanation, i see i won't be oving for another day now anyway ! Does that make me 0DPO today ? or should i wait for the opk to get fainter to judge that ov has actually happened ? I've been ttcing for over a year and still so many questions, and i'm supposed to be a nurse, shame on me ! To be fair I think i had a grand total of 2 hours of lessons on the female reproductive cycle during my three years training tho, during which we manage to cover puberty, the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and the menopause, so we're not exactly experts !

Hi All

Havnt posted for a while but I read daily

Still on course to start TTC in August, been off the pill since April, first cycle after stopping the pill was 32 days, second cycle 28 days so I seem to have gone back to 'normal' (God I hate that word!) straight away.
Fingers crossed thats a good sign

Been taking a conception vitamin daily for the last 3 months to be ready

Yesterday, me and OH went food shopping and had to park right at the back and as we walked past the mother and baby places at the front he said "ooo hopefully next year you can park in one of those"

Thought that was quite sweet, although he probably just wants a short walk to the entrance :rotfl::rotfl:

CD61....really??!

Still no sign of AF or pregnancy (though not done a test for at least a week.) Now I'm wondering if AF is going to come this month, I have sore boobs but only really notice them at night when I take my bra off - but I'm taking this as a sign my hormones are doing something. I'm still really bloated too, but not sure what that means.

I have a docs appointment next Monday, as if AF hasn't arrived by then I've Definately missed 2 cycles.

I'm still trying to get my head around all the timings and acronyms, but it's only my second month here, so I'm sure it'll come...:)

I have ewcm yesterday (I think), and we BD today. Becca's very helpful list tells me I'm CD11. I don't have any ovulation monitor sticks so not quite sure when I'll be ovulating. We'll just stick to trial-and-error for another month or two, then will take the plunge and get stuck in properly.

Need to convince my OH to BD a bit more over the next week. He seems keen to have another LO tho, so hopefully he won't mind!

I'd count tomorrow as 0dpo. If you want to be sure you'll need to temp but I've been temping for almost 2 years & always ov one day later. Once you get a positive you don't really need to use anymore tests unless you want to.

Not been on for a few days so just trying to catch up! Hugs to all that need one at the mo. June has been a really bad month for bfp's hasn't it?!

Nothing to report for me at the mo - af was lighter than it has been in the past few months but don't really know what that means!

Oh !!!!!!! Got a darker opk last night - still negative but on the way to being positive so today I wee'd on the stick expecting it to be positive or nearer to positive but it's bleedin not. It's fainter. Much fainter. Like cd8 lighter. I just want to have sex dammit. I hate that my sex life is governed by a stupid stick and my even more stupid body that won't even ovulate If there's a tiny bit of stress.

Throws stupid negative helpful opk in the bin and goes in search of bounties and milky ways.

To top it off I've been really grumpy and moody today which is normally the sign that I'm about to ov. Will someone tell that to my stupid ovaries please? I'm sure one of them must be Mavis Riley.
