Hi skint welcome back. Hope your stay is short :)

I read an article on Daily Mail online about antidepressants in early stages of pregnancy. It was on there today. It says it can cause heart defects etc so probably best to stick to chocolate and a voodoo doll! I could do with that right now. Life with DP is amazing. Life outside of that is !!!!

Does anyone know if antidepressants are OK during TTC cos I think I need some?

I'm currently on citalopram, which is classed as safe while ttc and during pregnancy (which is why I'm on that specific one, GP knows we are trying). Still, do your research, and discuss things with your GP/a therapist before deciding that you need pills.

THanks for the welcome everyone :)

Mrs_T_M I have a history of depression going back to when I was 13. The last three years I have been pill-free but before then i was on them for a long time. My GP would happily prescribe them again. I don;t know if counselling would help as i just finished a course of it and I still feel rubbish :(

Thought I'd see if I could chat to my GP about it all.

Hmmm. I'm wondering if I have a dodgy batch of opks. Got a new lot this month as I ran out last month but still have some of the Tesco ones from last cycles embarrassing foray into the supermarket so I dipped that in the same pee sample and the line is much darker on the tesco one. I would call the Tesco one close to positive whereas the ic has only the faintest of lines. What to do? Obviously I don't want to waste our best chance if it turns out the tesco ones are just more sensitive but don't want to miss the chance either if it turns out the opks are duff. Argh. What do I do?

(((code))) My IC OPKs only ever give me really faint lines so I stopped using them. I have loads as well. I just go by EWCM now.

Sorry your OH isn;t up to DTD tonight. That's frustrating.

Hi Skint :) Have you tried CBT? I was on pills for YEARS until I tried that, its not a magic fix but it worked for me, I still feel depressed but have not thought of going back on pills since.

The Clomid makes me almost rethink though...

Sorry your OH is a twit Code *hugs* since when does sore eyes spread down there..!

They normally sort my eyes out within minutes!

That's so confusing with your opks! Lets hope you get a strong line today.
