Damn you AF - the witch has arrived

Was expecting it, but still feel bit fed up, its weird though as bleeding is fairly heavy, but I have literally NO cramps etc - not that I'm complaining but that never happens.

See, I don't really *get* the POAS addiction. I don't really like doing it as I hate seeing the glaring white space where a line should be, and the digis... 'Not Pregnant', ohh that's cutting!

Told OH about the BD plan last night and he was very confused as I was 'just' on my period, tried to explain that for some reason my cycle was short last month and looks like it could be the same this month but his eyes just glazed over then he asked 'So, are you going to be on your period every 3 weeks now?'. 'Not if you get me pregnant, I won't be!'

Oh and I'm totally expecting an announcement from a friend of OH's soon. Saw her on Saturday and she kept her coat buttoned up but she seemed to be growing a bump as it was very tight just on the tummy area. She also told me before Christmas that she was trying to convince her OH to TTC #2 this year and they were supposed to be getting married in June; suddenly they've decided to get married next year! My Baby-dar was going haywire!

My temps dipped this morning, so I guess AF will arrive properly tomorrow or during the day. At least my cycle was longer again and I know when I ov'ed. Not sure what the spotting around 8DPO was then. Oh well, maybe my birthday month will be the lucky one.

Not much chat from me ATM, just trying to do work and a bit of house DIY, de-cluttering. Poor OH's arthritis has flared up quite badly so we haven't been able to BD much at all. Am trying OPKs the whole month this month to see if we can time our BDs right at least

Ref the POAS discussions ......... I have previously had a preg test which said that you had to POAS - didn't give an option for collecting & dipping. So I POAS, and mostly missed (OH was not impressed, I told him it is a damn sight easier for him to aim than me). Can you always collect & dip regardless of the instructions with tests and OPK's (and I guess dip for a few seconds longer)?

(Sorry for the dim question )

Thankfully the CBFM gives a dipping option! I will be hunting out potential "vessels" in time for next cycle as you have all given some wonderful Blue Peter style ideas (although of course fingers crossed as ever that I won't need it after all) !!

I always dip. It's easier plus you can keep the FMU on the side for more tests. That's when you think you're PG. good to keep it while you go get a digi to check your TLP!

I always dip too, it's just easier. I have a red mug in the bathroom that I keep for that purpose, DH likes to tease me about it. It's kept well out of the way so nobody will use it by accident for popping their toothbrush in :rotfl:

I'm a dipper here too. No way could I aim successfully on to them IC tiny strips! I dip FRER and digis as well if there is a TLP.

I have a small jug in the bathroom. I used to have a cup, but for my molar samples I had a teeny tiny little pot to put the wee in - so had to change to a jug so I could pour it in without getting pee all over my hands.

Am feeling quite positive to say whats happened really. Had a few tears yesterday, but overall I'm doing ok. Really really would like to have a forever baby soon tho.

Does anyone know if I should do anything about my chemical with regards telling the GP/EPU? I hadn't been in to register being pregnant yet - and its -ve on a HTP now so no 'proof' as it were that I was pregnant. Will I need a scan or anything to confirm its all come away? As its my second miscarriage I presume I would be referred to a recurrent miscarriage person if I have another - but this one isn't registered if you see what I mean, so might not count?
