    CD1 here.

I have a shortish luteal phase too (11 days) since I stopped the pill in October last year. I used to be textbook OV on CD14 and AF would arrive 14 days later. Today I started taking vitamin b6 (as I have some in the house still) to try and lengthen it. We BDed at the right time a few months now and everything else is ok so I think I should maybe lengthen my luteal phase. Also I have either weak periods or strong short ones with lumps so maybe not implanting properly because of short LP.

How much do you take though. My tablets are only 10mg but I read that you should take anywhere between 50 and 200mg (including vit b6 from food)?

    Thanks

Just a quick message as I'm pretty busy at work but have got my fingers crossed for Code's hubby today. We went through that 4 years ago and at the time, it was the worst thing ever but now, hubby has been head hunted and got a nice pay rise. Whatever happens, I hope it's all ok Code, will be thinking of you.

AFM - am now temping - have been doing so for 8 days, temps range from 36.26 to 36.68 so guessing that's fairly normal??

Currently on CD13 and FF says I should be OV today but CBFM only went from low to high today so am hoping it's soon. Did a cheapy OPK as well as I've not got masses of faith in the CBFM at the moment and there was the faintest of lines so am hoping it will darken over the next couple of days.

Happy Thursday all - nearly the weekend!

Code - Thinking about you and really hoping everything is ok for hubby and dad.

159 - That's a shame you didn't BD much at the right time. We don't let being at the in-laws stop us! :D Altho it has to be silent! :rotfl:

Blondy - keep up those vits for stamina to keep going :rotfl: I get a bit fed up when it's every day :D

Fannyanna -that's great you only have to get to BMI 35 altho I know it's hard to lose any amount of weight. Fingers crossed you'll get there soon.

Sjlou - Have a fab bding holiday!!

Becca - Yay for the trigger! Fingers crossed for a BFP :)

Hugs to everyone, esp those with AF visiting  and for those having an annoying wait.

AFM - PEAK on the CBFM today!!! :D (Hope you get yours soon Tashatutuw) That's CD16 same as last month's OPK. Now I'm thinking of all the months we wasted when we had run out of steam by now and me thinking oh well, it'll be past ov anyway

Hope you all have a good day xx

I'm the same as you... got my cbfm peak on cd17, we had most definitely run out of steam by the previous couple of months!!

claire - the cbfm asked me to test 3 days before af was due based on the first peak being 1dpo, and then again on the day it was due. So I had two pots! then af arrived that afternoon. Need to post them off tomorrow as their still in there..!

thriftylass - hugs for cd1. we are all seeming to be in sync by a couple of days this month. here's hoping for a bumper load of bfp's this time next month.

Kynthia its so easy to get stressed and forget the good things in your life. have a moan, then concentrate on the things youre happy with. Was it you birthday recently? if so Happy Birthday! :bdaycake:

code keeping everthing crossed for you oh today.

    welcome new ladies!

    Hey all,

Keeping everything crossed for Code today xx My OH finally started his new job on Monday but hoping your oh will be fine. It is a horrible time and no different if you are expecting it.

I have been guilty of googling and looked up anovulatory cycles ... lots of info but the only bit I can really remember is reading that they can mean you are getting towards the menopause!! Mmm thanks Google!!!

Firmly in the wine zone here, I am allergic to chocolate tho so I am in the Wine and Runny Egg Zone. Becca I don't need my own list tho!!

Hope you are all well and Claire hope you are starting to feel much better, sounded yuck!

    xx

PS Blimey my phone behaved through that entire post!

    Hey ladies,

I'm a little bit confused. The other day I took an OPK as I wanted to see a negative one so I had something to compare to a positive next month - if that makes sense. There was a very faint line and the dark control line.

I took another one today - and the two lines are almost the same colour! I'm definitely not ovulating because I'm due my period tomorrow and woke up with bad AF cramps (although they lessened after I'd gone and had a big wee :D). Anyone know why I'd be having a positive OPK? I'm 10 DPO?

Sorry for all the questions - I'm new to this so still trying to figure it all out. Hugs for anyone who may need one. :)

Try a HPT could be the same result?! Or it just detects the luteinizing hormone still in your system after OV
