    Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Ladies quick q please!
So I'm cd31 today which would normally be when I expect af. But had very strange cycle this month on cbfm ... started poas on cd8, got a day of low and then 18 days of highs with no peak. Not sure if that means I didn't ov, but it was hell of a lot of high days? Mr Google isn't telling me much, this happens to loads of ppl on their first cycle but this is my 4th.

Of course I have also googled to find that high levels of oestrogen can cause a high ...... but also pg so it is driving me a bit insane.

Anyway. With not getting a peak I'm not sure when to test?

Still stuck waiting at home, there's nowhere local to buy a preg test, its a good 15 min walk each way to nearest chemist, so I've ordered some IC which will be here tomorrow!

Was just buying a fathers day card online for my stepdad and they had all these cards "from the bump" to the dad to be, made me feel bit sad :(

Aw I want to buy one of these for DH. Of course, it would be wasted on him as he "doesn't do Hallmark days" (We don't do duvets!). Even if we ever do get that elusive BFP and I manage to carry to term and give birth to a healthy baby, Mothers day will still make me sad cause I won't get cards or presents. Starting to think I should swap him for something more useful. Like a chocolate fireguard.

Chocgirl, I dont know what to suggest. If you're normally quite regular, I'd test with an ic.

  • Hiya all

In for my every other day check up! :D Sounds like everyone is tickety boo even though things may not going exactly the way they wanted. I can promise you that I do read the last few pages to see how you are doing.

Loulou I'm still in the same position as you, 36 days and no sign of AF. Since the start of this years periods have been 21 days, 21 days, 32 days, 28 days, and now 36 and not even any impending sign of it! Now I'm getting a bit nutty about doing pregnancy tests but all negative of course! Give it another week I think and then go to doctors to get blood test if nothing showing up. My partner tells me off for worrying about it and all the pregnancy tests telling me to just wait and see. Aaargh I dont want to!

Code - had to laugh at you swapping your DH for a chocolate fireguard! If I ever get a BFP I'll properly have a similar mothers day experiance to you, as hubby would properly forget!

Slinky selina - sorry to hear your in the same boat as me, I can't remember what CD I'm on today (think its 47!!) For last 2 years I've been between 29 and 32 days every month (apart from one 41 day cycle, but I'm convinced that one was late as I was really poorly...) its so frustrating isn't it??

Slinky and lou - I agree with you about the frustration. I'm on CD67 today and getting very fed up!

Blimey this thread moves fast, even on a typical working day!
Though on that point, I just wondered how some of you manage to get medical appointments and how you fit it around work? I keep thinking if I needed blood tests or anything I would only be able to do certain dates and fit around work

Sjlou - my OH went to see Bon Jovi Saturday - I have no musical taste apparently as I am not a fan! Sounds like you had fun though

Loulou - I would be so frustrated. I would be tempted to see a doctor, though not too sure what they would say/do

Becca - sorry that you have to go back again, hopefully all this effort will pay off in the end

Miskate - I am rubbish with opks - are you using the cheap internet ones? I have yet to see a positive. I may eventually crack and buy the expensive clear blue ones. I am also still waiting for my cycle to go into a routine since stopping the pill in Dec so keep telling myself that my body is still sorting itself out rather than getting worried over whether I am ovulating or not.

tinkwings - sorry to hear that you have been feeling down this cycle

Welcome VickyViks - I came off the pill in Dec and still waiting for my cycle to go back into a routine - went from 43, 42, 41, 28....and now just waiting for what happens this month

Cards from the bump I personally find cheesy, but each to their own, code I think it is an entirely different matter though if you have a child and OH's should be responsible for buying gifts for mothers day (or another family member if OH is incapable themselves of doing this)

Hugs for all those in need - in particular ladies with confusing cycles.

AFM - based on last month AF should be due tomorrow. Though previously have been up to 43 days, so who knows. Currently don't feel any signs of AF so will have to wait and see

OMG CD67 is ridiculous! I thought CD47 was bad, but think I'd have gone mental by day 67...is this usual for you, have you been to doctors? Hugs.

Tia, it's not so much that I want to send a cheesy card. It's more that, I want to be in a position where I could send a card if I wanted to. You know, handing him the card to let him know that I'm pregnant, maybe with the test inside. "Happy Sunday dude. Here's something I peed on". Sadly, I won't even have ovd by fathers day.
