Trying for a Baby Part 9

I tried ringing the maternity unit as according to my hospitals website they deal with the gynaecolgy/epu unit and left a message 1.5hrs ago but no reply yet....:o
I haven't had any bleeding or pain since I found out I was pregnant, just my "period"
Took a test this morning (don't think I will ever stop) and it was still strong, I have a doctors appt this afternoon but not until 4.30 and by time I come out everywhere will be closed so any scans/blood tests will need to be done tomorrow at the earliest!
Got a massage booked for 12pm, have cancelled it once already so am just going to go and pay for it as too scared to have one done now even though she is pregnancy massage trained! Shes self employed so don't wanna put her out of pocket...Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Thank you Beautybutterfly. I went a bit mental last week and did a test on my 25th day as I knew a heavy weekend was planned and wanted to reassure myself that i could have a drink. BFN on the test but I guess it was too early?!
Amusing conversation with my husband re TTC:
Him: Maybe the problem is that after DTD, it all comes out of you when you stand up. Perhaps we need to keep it all in you.
Me: Where do you think it goes if it doesn't come out when I stand up?Do you think it gets absorbed into my body? The whole load?!
Him: *Baffled expression*0 -

Yeah CD25 would probably be too early anyway for anything to show up, as for drinking I know lots of people who have got sloshed when they didn't know they were pregnant and were absolutely fine!
As for the conversation with your husband, it eventually comes out even when you stay horizontal for half an hour... gross concept but it definitely doesn't just all stay in there I don't think haha0 -
I'd go to the dr if I started bleeding that early, especially if its not the first time.
Thanks awaiting an appt with the fs at the moment. The problems that some cycles I ovulate and some I don't, so I'm worried that they won't give me clomid. Argh! Why can this not be straight forward. Am in a rubbish mood with my useless body today.0 -
Morning all
Massive congtratulations to Birdie & lilmissup - happy 9 months ahead for you!
It's so good to see so many long timers on here getting their BFP's - great news all round and many more to come I hope!
Had a lovely weekend - did some decorating in the newly plastered hall, stairs and landing, bit of shopping, some gardening and a nice bike ride from Ashridge to Ivinghoe early on Sunday morning before it got busy - so beautful at that time of the day.
CD3 for me - just like last month, tested on CD27 (Fri) and a couple of hours later, AF arrived. Was too late to press the button on the CBFM so Sat had to be my CD1 but that's ok.
Hubby & I have agreed that my cycles appear to be getting to a more normal length - somewhere between 27-31 days for the last 4 cycles so the depo inj might finally be out of my system - 14 months since I last had one. Will never ever have it again, aside from that, it's not nice having your bottom jabbed every 3 months!
We've agreed that we will have a month where we really try hard - no more "too tired, always busy", etc - we've both been taking the his'n'hers pregnacare now since November, cycles appear to be a bit more normal so there is no excuses - so body listen up, I'm not having you messing us around any more - get on with and listen to what we want for a change!
Have also signed up with FF so need to start reading all the emails they've sent me about charting, temping, etc - plus need to get a digi thermometer too.
Hope you all have a great day.
Gelly

Huge congrats to Birdie and Lilmissmup, hope it all goes well and a healthy 9 months.
Hope this month there are lots of BFP!
AFM - Have been spotting last couple of days on and off and cramp last night and this morning. V. light spotting today, AF is due today (well turned up on 3rd May last month) did test yesterday and was a BFN so guessing AF will turn up soon, have ordered more OVK's from Amazon.
Have tried to distract myself from feeling a bit down with TTC although in early days I know. So decided to make jam at the weekend and do some sewing (turning into an old married housewife! haha!)0 -
Morning everyone
Still no AF for me, all signs have literally gone, the spotting was Definately not anywhere near enough to be classed as AF.
I'm at work and feeling really weird, not ill just strangers, I feel kind of light headedwish I knew what was going on.

Decided I'm going to throw everything in my arsenal at ttc this month. Temping, opks, soy, restricted caffeine after AF is gone, lunaception, fertility self massage, relaxation, conceive plus, healthy eating and anything else I can think of.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Huge congratulations Birdie, amazing news! And huge congratulations to you too Lilmissmup! Hope the maternity unit get back to you soon and give you some reassurance.
Hoping this month will be a great month, guessing 8bfps please.
Codemonkey - hugs for af. Hope Scamp is giving you lots of lovely doggie cuddles.
Becca - hope you had a lovely anniversary weekend.
Thanks angeltreats for doing the lists over the weekend.
Part Mouse - hope you're feeling better now.
This feels like the longest 2ww so far, it's just dragging! The vouchers arrived from Clearblue on Thursday though, so been planning how to spend them. Pleased people are getting on well with the trial monitor now. I loved it and would be really tempted to buy one if needed. Have ordered some opk just in case for next month. We usually dtd all over ov time, so it's more for my own curiosity as never 100% sure when I ov - seem to get ewcm and ovary pain for quite a few days.Hold my hand harder
Ease my mind
Roll down the smoke screen
And open the sky
Let me fly0
