Hugs to everybody having a rough time. It's tricky asking about the wish to have kids. Close family and close friends obviously do it especially at weddings and the like and I'm usually kind to them and it's easier to be open. With others not so. For us it was like I wanted kids from the start (about 9 years ago) but hubby wasn't ready. 4 years ago we started and had a MC and then it took another year and a half to have DS and I was 33. So I get "slightly" annoyed when people ask why did you wait so long? Or a friend gets judged for having her first at 40. Try explaining that you tried since 30, then your fiance battled cancer for 3 years, died unfortunately. She found a lovely new partner a while later but was 38 by then. I can understand why people ask they are just curious etc. but I wish there was a more accommodating way to ask or people would think about other options rather then "we were not ready".

CD1. How crap. So fed up of TTC. It's our goddaughters Christening this month and we got asked to be godparents 6 months ago, I thought I'd have a huge bump by now. Nope, nothing. So now I'll have to deal with the nosey gits asking when we are going to have one, you're so good with babies blah blah.
Anyway rant over. Onto month 129828473765735 ....

Not had anything to report recently so haven't been on this thread but so glad I popped in now.

Just had my 1st Peak today and OH not willing to DTD, was very annoyed to say the least but feeling a little better now seeing someone else get their happy news

Hugs for CD1 becca.

Think we need some creative answers to the when are you having kids type questions. So here are some I've considered.

1. We'd love to have kids but sadly OH is an alien from a far away galaxy sent to study our ways and as he's a different species, it's just not possible.
2. Oh we have 6 already. We keep them in the basement. Josef Frtizl was so clever to think of that, don't you think?
3. We're currently involved in an experimental project where OH's dna is being spliced with a seahorse so he can carry the babies. If thats successful we'll be right on it.
4. (stolen from GOT) when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.

I'm going for number 2 on the list at the christening. Actually If I use that before, I won't have to be godmother! Result!!
