I keep winding hubbie up with unusual Irish boys names that I like, such as Finbar and Malachi. He looks horrified! :)

My hubby wanted the Irish name Turlough. But said to a German they burst out laughing as the heard hole in the door :rotfl::rotfl: as tur sounds like "door" and lough like "hole" in German. So wouldn't work at home...

Kynthia - We have a name picked out for a girl and have had several since we first got together but I keep having to strike them from selection because of stupid books getting all popular - started off with Isabella after my mum but Twilight made that popular to the point where it's high up the top ten list of names and I always quite liked Anastasia and Ana, but 50 shades of crap did for that one (apologies to people who liked it but I hated it). Now we've only got the name we selected a few years ago and loved but I keep thinking maybe I'm not getting pregnant because the unborn baby doesn't like the name. Stupid I know.

Boys names are more tricky. Our surname is really difficult to pair anything with it without them sounding like a footballer or an Irish joke. Doesnt help that there are a lot of boys in my family and they nick the good names ( well some of them, some have really stupid names). Oh and my favourite boys name got taken by a dog. And not even my dog.

    Big congratulations TL! :j

Afm, I'm on cd16, day 8 of Highs on the monitor and no sign of a peak. :(

I'm sure I should have ovulated by now. Damn machine. Bd yday and Friday so hopefully if the monitor didn't pick it up were still in with a chance this month. Not stopping though, will keep it going until I get a peak/low.

Still in my pjs, contemplating all the ironing I have to do.....

Looking after friend dog while they on hols till wed. Lovely huge ball of fluff (not sure of breed) but hairs everywhere and I keep sneezing and nose running - lovely :-)

TeamLowe - massive congratulations for you! :j

Becca - hugs for CD1, rubbish.

Has anyone just been listening to Radio 2? Lovely lady called Matilda who is pregnant and also having chemo for breast cancer - horrific decision but she sounds very strong, made me cry a little.

Afm, well, no idea if I have OV-ed or not. Have been monitoring CM but honestly not seen a jot of change (which worries me slightly!). I'm going to ask to be updated to 1DPO anyway based on cycle length, but am now armed with my thermometer and OPKs ready for next month.

    Congratulations teamlowe. :j

Surely there is time for at least one more BFP this month?!

I have tender bits already this month so feel AF is on her way for an earlier visit than last month. Boo.

Beautiful weather so I am off to enjoy it with my son (8) and my partner.

    xx
