I can't believe I'm posting this today, but I'm pregnant!

I thought I was CD9 today and my CBFM was asking for a stick, and then told me I was ovulating... very odd I thought because the last 2 cycles I've ovulated CD17 and CD18. Then I remembered that ovulation sticks don't distinguish between LH and HCG so I did a pregnancy test... and it was positive! I started bleeding CD29 (10DPO)which I had thought was a bit early for AF but it was as heavy as my normal AF just didn't last as long (3 days rather than 4). I guess it was actually implantation bleeding. I had exactly the same thing when pregnant with my son.

So I'm delighted to be pregnant again esp after losing the last bean last cycle and I think it is all down to the CBFM!

Sticky baby dust to all of you!

    Ejecoms

    Congratulations :)

Hey everyone. I have had ovulating pains for a couple of days. My ovulation machine has broken its the one which you put sticks in and show a empty circle or a smiley face.
I need to call up the helpline but can not afford to go and buy another really. So I can not test!

I am trying the Sperm meets egg plan. Its BD'ing every other day and then once you get a positive ovulation test you do it every day for three days take a day break and one for luck!

So as soon as I started getting the pains I imagined that was a good sign ovulation was here so I am on my third day today of BD'ing every night. I am not sure if I can manage it again as I am so tired but hey we will.

    Anyone else tried this plan?

Just read this about progesterone http://www.babymed.com/fertility-tests/progesterone-level and they say 10 - 12 is ok im confused!!

So 7 dpo not 7 days before af for the test ?

Hugs to all those that need one seems to be one of those weekends

I have one more question if you pass blood with ewcm that is pinky red is that classed as af? Could that be a sign of pregnancy? Clutching at straws

How do you get a normal period as this does not feel right for me

Kynthia is correct - you can't compare it to US websites they use a different measurement.

Yes we tried it & then I didn't ovulate that month so was thoroughly hacked off. Then tried it last month but no bfp. We're going to keep at it though.

    Ejecoms CONGRATS :j:j:j

Atton Could the pink/red ewcm you describe be implantation bleeding? I'm still trying to get my head around all the different types of cm but I'm sure one of the lovely ladies who know what the heck they are taking about would be able to advise?

ttc39 You have my sympathy, I don't think any of us are more hyper aware of all pregnancy as much as when ttc ourselves and bitter about those undeserving of the gift.

Commiserations to those who the witch has caught!

AFM - My temps have stayed high, I temp'd late today at 10am and the reading was real high but I dismissed it as it was 3hours later than I usually read (late night last night I just slept through my 7am alarm). Have felt really tetchy for the last few days, uncomfortable and itchy in my skin but hoping a relaxing weekend changes that. Feel like I'm ss and its doing my head in cuz I don't think this was our month. FF has me at 5DPO today so only a milliong years left to wait!

Hope you all have lovely weekends planned!! xx

    Hi ladies

Just popping on to say congrats to ejecoms yay for your bfp x

Hugs for cd1s baffling test results and crummy confusing cycles x

Hi new ladies may your stay be short x

I've been reading not posting At the mo as been super busy and waiting for my stupid ov is soooo frustrating and boring. I'm a bit peeved with my cbfm as it has already started to give me highs when I know it may be up to another 2 weeks before I ov piece of carp I really wanted it to give me a few days notice about ov and it's not working out like that.

    Hugs to all x

    Hello ladies

Cd1 here but it was expected and explains the bfn this morning. I have so much going on here at the mo I'm ok about it.

    Positives about a negative:

I get to fully enjoy my luxury spa break next week
I get more time enjoying our lovely new home and car
I get a couple of weeks to lose weight
I get a couple of weeks of guilt free drinking and eating (which contradicts the above point!!??)

Huge hugs to those who are struggling a the mo

Massive congratulations to ejecoms, great news :D

We also try to follow the sperm meets egg plan samtoby, I like to "follow the instructions" as it were and then surely it will result in a bfp!? It hasn't worked yet but we're ever hopeful!!?

    Have a good weekend x

Just did a search for progesterone levels in the uk and i found "A very low progesterone, say less than 10 indicates that you probably did not ovulate in that cycle; between 10 and 17 you ovulated but would not implant and therefore not get a pregnancy, even if you produce an embryo; 17 - 23 you will implant if it is a good embryo, but the lining will probably be too immature to provide the right environment to sustain implantation and embryo/foetal growth such that you may miscarriage either very early on, or have a difficult and unstable early pregnancy with perhaps bleeding then go on to have a miscarriage" from

...so what did they test then? Did they give an overall number? What about motility, did they say how many grade a there were?
The overall number in the sample is good to know but you need to know how many grade a motility with perfect morphology as they're the ones most likely to get you pregnant. It's no use have 40 million if they're all lazy with two heads.x

The volume was good and the normal motile sperm was 47% which is ok. I don't think anything cancels out the 10mil/ml, and the fact that he didn't have 20mil normal motile sperm in the whole sample (he had approx 16mil. I don't know why ph and morphology wasn't tested.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
