Credit crunch I had a positive for around three weeks i think after my d&c. Or maybe 2.5... It was a while away and very frustrating. About the only time you don't want a bfp.

Have you had any ov signs? For a test to show positive now, let's say you're the earliest possible so around 10dpo. That would mean ovulating 4 days after the mc. Would that add up to when you bd? Although I'm pretty sure you don't ovulate until after a negative test which seems unlikely within 4 days for the level to drop and then go right back up.

Sorry to drag you down but I'd be more worried about having something left in there, so you should still seek help. I don't want to get your hopes up for nothing.

And if it is good news you won't care about this soon! did you have a scan or anything after the bleeding? It was definitely a mc and not just bleeding?

Credit - the + test is almost certainly left over hormone from the m/c unfortunately. How many weeks were you when you m/c? The hormone levels take longer to drop than they do to rise. I started to bleed on 20th March and my negative test was 7th April so that's just under 3 weeks but my hormone levels were very very low to begin with. In my experience, they are asking you to do a test to check that all the hormone has gone, not to see if there is a new pregnancy.

Thank u all for your replies.
We BD 8 days after mc so it didnt add up for me.
I was more worried bout ectopic but midwife suggested twin or new pregnancy which planted the seed.
I had 2 scans - one internal so defo mc.
Doc rang about an hour ago to conf probably hormones but if I get pains ring doc again.
The midwife in one hospital asked me why I was doing another test!
All ok now & thanks again for your replies.

Many many many congratulations Bigzippy! Hope you have a very happy and healthy 9 months.

Fingers crossed the tlp turns into a a nice bfp for you mincepiemonster.

Mrs T M - really hope you get a nice bfp when you test again, have everything crossed for you.

Becca - I usually ovulate between CD11 and 15, so early sometimes and not others. This month I'm pretty sure I ovulated on cd13 and started getting ewcm on day 8 (corresponding with my first high on the CBFM). When I've ovulated on cd11, I had ewcm just about as soon as af ended. So usually start getting signs about 5 days before. Hope that helps!

Could I be updated to 2DPO on Monday's list please? Think we timed things pretty well this month, we shall see! Really don't want to send the cbfm back in a few weeks. It makes things so much easier! Hope everyone's having a lovely bank holiday and weather is holding out. Been really nice here today.

Ruth... Thanks for that. I've had ov signs today (more cm than is normal at this point, spots on chin) so did an opk and it was fairly dark although not positive.

Ill update you tomorrow, hope you caught it x

Bleeding again tonight. Still not nearly as heavy as usual, but enough for me to call it "light." If it lessens again in the morning, I'll definitely be testing again. I'm not really holding out much hope, but hey-ho.

I got a peak today on CBFM so bd this am, again tonight and tomorrow twice.
