Oh! Woo hoo bigzippy. So thrilled for you!

Beautybutterfly - temping is very easy. Think I posted a week ago that you need a thermometer with 2 decimal places. You get one from amazon for just a few quid. Link was in an earlier post. I'd recommend using Fertility Friend website and it's free. I'm just passing through but more than happy to post up my chart later for you to have a look. You basically take your temp when you wake every day (ideally around the same time each day), pop it into the website and it will confirm once OV has happened. It does only confirm OV so unfortunately, by the time it confirms it a few days later based on a temp shift, you'd miss your fertile window, but it's good to know you have actually ov'd and that you can stop trying for the month.

Hope that helps. There's plenty is us using the site, referred to as FF so do ask if you have any more questions :)

BZ - much less jealous than normal. I love it when the long termers get BFPs. It gives me hope.

How did you tell your OH?

The 999 reasons to laugh at infertility woman has also started a new site: http://999fertilitytips.blogspot.ca/ which is quite funny. :)
    Fertility Tip #988
To maximize your chances of conceiving, reduce your coffee and caffeine intake. When you do end up getting your period, participate in the "screw-you" fertility diet which includes drinking excessive amounts of coffee and alcohol, and skip a folic acid pill or two.

This ^^^ A thousand times this.

Boring furbaby update. We've got Scamp home now, had a trouble free night last night, been out for walks today - totally rubbish in heavy rain . My house now stinks of dog and I have a furry foot warmer who has spent most of today lying at or on my feet and demanding hugs. He is lovely.

He sounds so cute and I love the name. Such a pity you didn't get the good weather though! Maybe youll get it tomorrow?

I told DH he can have a dog when we get a baby. So sometimes hes like 'lets go make a puppy!'
