Brilliant! I’m also doing SW but not calorie counting. I’d love to do as well as you’ve done. I’m hoping to hit my 1.5 stone milestone this week. I was hoping to get it last week but AF ruined that one

1.5 stone is fantastic! I hope you get the sticker this week.

Any favourite recipes? I love the pork ragu with penne pasta, and I found a fab jambalaya and a chilli from the good food website that just needed a few adjustments. We basically cook in bulk and weekdays just deforst and then chuck some pasta or rice with something. 15 mins and it's on the plate :D 18 mins and it's all gone :rotfl:

twigpig i find the myfitnesspal app keeps me honest too! it's suprising how a bacon butty for breakfast, pie for lunch and lasagne with garlic bread can really add up and leave you no room for crisps and chocolate at night...or have we just discovered that it's not just the PCOS that's to blame for my weight? lol

It's a really good app and free! and you're right, if you have a treat breakfast (bacon yummy yummyness) you know that you then can't have a treat lunch, a treat dinner and maybe some chocolate with a nice cup of tea cos who doesn't need a sit down at night with a cuppa and some chocolate...... :rotfl:

Sorry Ladies, went majorly AWOL again. Better update and I'm 7dpo on CD 22. Only did the deed once so far :( on CD13 so the timing is ok but probably not enough. We're trying to get DS to sleep in his toddler bed with mixed success (DH is to blame as he's too soft and takes him in with us, which is counterproductive to BDing ;). My spots around OV are getting worse. They cleared up now a bit. Anyone else got worse spots as they got older. Never used to get them on the pill and hardly ever off it either.

Well thanks everyone that has cheered me up. I was thinking omg where is the ovulation....maybe I have stopped and just have phantom periods....I hope not anyway.

How large is the window of ovulation? Is it a few days or a few hours?

Samtoby - ov is something like 12-36 hours but you're better doing it the day before because the sperm have to take their wee armoured jackets off before fertilization and that can take 12 hours.

Feeling a bit sad now. A guy in my office texted to say his wife had a baby girl. I knew she was pregnant and I knew she was having her c section today but I didn't expect to feel so sad that its not me with the tiny new baby (who am I kidding? Babies in my family are considered tiny if they're under 9lbs and DH was also a large baby so when the time comes I'll give birth to an elephant!) This :( sums me up perfectly :(

    Hugs to code and Jammy

Thanks for the answers on SA guess it makes sense the gp needs to explain your results in a medical context, I think I had just presumed they sent you a letter with the results like an exam result lol!

Only 2 of the clinics have responded so far, and I won't tell hubby tonight as he's come home from work in a foul mood!
