Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hello ladies - sorry I've been quiet - its been a bit busy with one thing and another but now I'm back (at work so I have the time hehe).
Hugs to everyone that needs them and congrats to anyone who has had their BFP.
Could I please be added to the front page - I was there and now it appears I have gone!
Littlme82 (31) TTC #1 September 2012
I am currently 6DPO
I saw my doctor yesterday and she was lovely. I went armed with print outs from FF and she could see that we are regularly BD'ing and OV.
I am off to the hospital tomorrow for a blood test, I have to go back on CD2-5 for another blood test, I have to go for an ultrasound and DP has to have a SA test.
Fingers crossed
Hope you are all enjoying this less arctic weather! x0 -
I've had a very productive morning, I've ordered my CBFM from amazon (decided on a new one, as they still sell for quite a bit on ebay 2nd hand and I've used amazons next day click and collect service so I will Definately have it when (if) AF arrives.
I've also emailed all the clinics on hubbys SA list for total costs for procedure (as didn't want any nasty surprises over cost...) the closest clinic sends the results to your GP rather then giving them to you - is this normal, as think hubby (for some unknown) reason doesn't want the GP involved. The price is coming out at around £100 which is cheaper then I thought.
The dreams are freaking me out, hubby made it worse this morning by saying "perhaps its a ghost and your not dreaming!" Thanks for that! Of course I googled weird dreams and Google told me it can be a early preg symptom - I don't think so (as fairly sure there's no chance this month) but its a bit weird...
Back to work this afternoon after 5 days off0 -
Hi Kynthia
On the positive at least the CBFM gives you some clarity when you are ovulating even if the date comes as a surprise.
Fingers crossed you get some bd action today and the next couple of days and without the machine you might have missed it altogether.
Good luck x
I've started using Flabelos in an attempt to lose some of the 2 stone that i've put on since my wedding!? I was slightly concerned that the instructions said pregnant women must not use the machine and am really hoping that all the vibrations don't deter an egg implanting properly but I've also figured that my weight increase may be affecting pregnancy anyway and I am trying to live life more normally and not obsess over being pregnant until I get my bfp - does anyone else use the machine?Got married October 2012 :jHoping to conceive 20130 -
Bigzippy – your weight loss is truly amazing. Well done on getting so close to your IVF referral.
Goppers – fingers crossed for a ‘perfect’ cycle.
Sjlou – I hate those shopping trips. I don’t bother anymore lol.
Twigpig – How did you do at your slimming class? Amazing that you’re next milestone is 4 stone. What diet do you follow?
Becca – congrats on the move and the follicles.
Naomijj – sorry to hear about the lumps. I’m not surprised you’re worried. I won’t tell you to try and not worry because I know that’s impossible. I hope you get the results soon so you know where you stand – and of course I have everything crossed for it to be positive news. And boo to AF and its bad timing.
sophiasmum – fingers crossed for a BFN
Loulou123 – what freaky dreams.0 -

Becca - thanks for keeping me on the right track. I saw that I was in the if in doubt BD zone whereas I had naively thought that cos I was past CD14 then I was on the 2ww. I got EWCM yesterday so I'm calling that as my ov date so today I'm 1DPO. Also I'm such a daftie I thought I had EWCM a few days ago because I thought it was white like a cooked egg and realised yesterday that it is clear - DOH:o Hope you get your BFP with triplets this month!!
TeamLowe - Enjoy NYC - it's a fab city!
TCOD - Hope you feel a bit better for getting it all out on your blog. Sorry I don't have any techie advice on that.
Claw84 and naomijj - :wave:welcome
sjlou - Hope you're feeling a bit better now. Everyone has fat days. Trouble is mine are turning into fat weeks, months, years
Littleme82 - Hope all goes well with your tests.
babymad - I haven't used those machines - mainly cos I haven't been near a gym:rotfl:. i take it it's like a vibration plate. Years ago when I had the coil in I was told not to use it cos it could have dislodged it!!! So they must be pretty strong. i know you get results quicker on it but maybe think about just using the other machines?
This is a bit of an epic post already so to anyone I haven't mentioned I do enjoy reading your posts too and I try to click thanks for everyone0 -
Hi Faithhope
It is indeed a power plate type machine but it is just the machine rather than in a gym so no option of using anything else unfortunately. I asked in the shop today and they said that the programme I use is too powerful for a foetus but I could use the less powerful programme in the tww and as I've bought a months worth of sessions I'll do that until cd1 when I'll either go back to my usual programme or stop altogether if i get a bfp.Got married October 2012 :jHoping to conceive 20130 -
littleme82 - Glad your gp appointment went well. I think taking stuff with you shows that you won't be messed with
loulou123 - Don't really know about SA's, but I expect they send the results to your gp so someone who understands the results can explain them to you and also to ensure you get the right support if you need further tests/help......:o
BabyMad - I haven't use that machine, but losing some lbs is a good thing. I'd use pre OV and then maybe stop in the 2ww if you're even a little worrierd about it
fannyanna - I'm going to Slimming World and although I'm following the principles of the SW diet, I'm calorie counting to help reduce intake and portion size. I have the MyFitnessPal app which tracks all my calories and exercise (if I did any). It makes it all quite simple and really makes me think about what I'm eating. (Pretty much, stick to less than 1720 calories per day and I will lose 1lb a week)
ttc39 - oh dear, hope hubby's up for BD'ing whilst feeling crappy. Gotta catch the egg......
faithhope - kajungas! :T
Oh, I have fat days too, even after losing almost 4 stone. In a lot of ways, I feel the same as before, but to be fair, I could lose another 4 stone...... :rotfl:
Well done on the epic post :TTTC #3..........0 -

Brilliant! I’m also doing SW but not calorie counting. I’d love to do as well as you’ve done. I’m hoping to hit my 1.5 stone milestone this week. I was hoping to get it last week but AF ruined that one :cool:0 -
Loulou re:SA results, i was told we couldn't just be given them, would have to be through the GP as it's not a straightforward answer and whilst something might be low something else might be high so it might be swings and roundabouts
Like with my husband's - his morphology (how the sperm look) is 3% when 'normal' is above 4%, so that would worry me if i hadn't been told that sperm aren't actually meant to look normal and his motility and overall count are fine so it all balances out. i think he worked it out that his count of normal looking, highly motile (grade A) swimmers is something like 6.4 million, which when we only need 1 is obviously plenty
twigpig i find the myfitnesspal app keeps me honest too! it's suprising how a bacon butty for breakfast, pie for lunch and lasagne with garlic bread can really add up and leave you no room for crisps and chocolate at night...or have we just discovered that it's not just the PCOS that's to blame for my weight? lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
