Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hi ladies
Just wanted to say hello ad good luck. I won I'd known about you guys when I was TTC. Its a long and lonely time. After many months it finally happened for me. I used clearblue fertility sticks (not the monitor) the smily face ones - I made the mistake of buying from a shop before I found them cheaper on Amazon.
I also mainly credit it working due to 'Preseed' which I bought off amazon.
I fell pregnant within 2 months of using it. Twice (I miscarried the first time). It is cheap (£15 ish for a tube which has a fair few uses) and I would recommend it. I am now 25 wks and all is fine so far.
I also learned that normal 'lube' blocks sperm. So preseed helps people who need lube too. If you use lube you def need to stop or find a product that doesn't block it (preseed or there are prob other makes?)
I hope this helps someone. I promise I don't work for clearblue amazon or preseed!
Good luck and never give up hope. Oh and cheap early pregnancy sticks work fine.. I used asda own and found again that amazon had early ones that worked well and were v v v cheap. I used the !!!! in a pot and test ones as much cheaper. (egg cups work well)
Xxx
Ps sorry that I'm not TTC and I've written here but the preseed/lube things are so rare to read about I could literally kiss the person who wrote about it on one website I saw or I'm sure I wouldn't now be pregnant.0 -
Hi, I'm new here. I mainly hang around on the old style thrift board but I just noticed this one.
I'm 31, my partner is 34 and we are trying for our third. I have two children from my first marriage who are 13 and 9. This will be my partner's first child although he counts my two as his as well.
We have been trying for 10-11 months. There is pretty much nothing I don't know about temping and OPK's so hopefully I can help contribute.
I am 11dpo but I had a negative result this morning. We are hoping we can get pregnant before May which is when we are going in for more tests.
Good luck to everyone.Jan-March: reduced monthly food bill by £400 (cancelled overdraft and started saving)
April: £112.17/£180 food budget. £9.39/£20 household. 4/15 NSD's.
