Still waiting for AF to come along :( Haven't got a clue whats going on with my body atm - can feel my temper is short and I'm having to make lots of effort to be nice to DH. He's confused as one minute I'm his lovely lady and the next I am a horrideous monster hellbent on making him clear every toast crumb off the kitchen side o.O

Have any of you used Implanon before to know approx how long I would be waiting to hear from AF? xx

Sneaking in here (hope you don't mind)

I came off implanon in early march last year, ovulated within three weeks, first proper AF two weeks after that. Cycles settled straight away to around 28 days. BFP in August (didn't stick) but have now graduated (fingers crossed).

However... Each woman reacts differently and just because my cycles settled easily, doesn't necessarily man yours will too.

    Hi all!

Thanks COMP its just frustrating as I knew AF was due either the day of/after removal and it just disappeared on me! Now I am just left in the myriad of hormones whilst my cycle settles itself down..

    (fingers duly crossed) xx

    Hi Tasha

I had Implanon removed in October, and had my first AF just under a month later. My cycles were completely random until February, when I also got my first positive OPK (I don't temp). HTH

    Hi ladies,

Have been MIA a bit recently - have managed to lurk a bit but no real time to post. Hope you are all doing well and had a great Easter weekend.

Claire16C - totally agree with you, I was so annoyed with the Dad last night on OBEM - if it's such a big thing, then why the need to be outside puffing away and missing the big event - grrrr!!!

Told hubby that if/when it happens for us, he's got to be with me the whole time. Not that he's going to be down the "business" end as I'm sure he'd be flat out having fainted but he has to be there throughout.

AFM, now on CD24 and on my 11th high day on my CBFM - but still no peak - that's 2 months in a row now with no peak. I suppose it could still happen but no sign of AF arriving either so my body is officially haywire!!!

Just wish I could be classed as "normal" re my cycles - it's amazing how incredibly stressful this all is - I can't stop thinking about, I watch every baby programme going on tv and it frustrates me that for some people it just happens and yet for the majority of us, we have to wait.

Haven't managed to BD for 6 days now as we had guests over the Easter weekend - stayed from Fri through to Mon so that was that out the window, our bedrooms are far to close to even try to be quiet

Since then, we've been exhausted but hoping to tonight, just in case AF arrives in the next couple of days.

Hope you all have a good day ahead.
    Love Gelly

1nmyopinion - thanks for posting. Most of what you've said people would know here, but if you only reach 1 person, it was worth sharing, so we can never remind people too much of the helpful things we come across along the way. Congrats on your pregnancy and I hope it's all going along well.

bekkikay - Welcome  Testing at 11dpo will get you into trouble with the finger wagglers.... lol

kynthia - BIG hugs for you. Hope you're feeling ok..... :(

Tashatutuw - welcome  Hope your stay is short and sweet :)

ruth26 - Hope everything goes well on Friday with your results.

fannyanna - I hope that you're not in a room with a load of knives! :rotfl:

mincepiemonster - Hoping that AF doesn't show up (well, for at least the next 9 months) :P

purcy81 - great news on your lp. Mine was only 7 days last cycle, so can you share what you're doing, if anything to increase it? :)

    squ1rrel5 - hugs.....

atton83 - Hope you doing ok. Sounds like your body is playing tricks on you. Hugs!

    Afternoon all,

Tasha - I also had implanon. My first cycle off it was 43 days and since then completely random cycle lengths (although I Ov every cycle) but my cycles were not regular before implanon either so it wasn't a surprise.

afm. Nothing to report, still waiting for ov. Managed to bd almost everyday so knowing my luck we will be completely exhausted and taking a break by the time ov actually happens. The clomid doesn't seem to have made any difference at all, in fact I haven't noticed any out of the ordinary symptoms so next month it is back to the AC until the IVF assessment at the end of May.
