Mrs T_M. I saw you talking about cross stitching the other day, did you join the other thread? I've actually an avid cross stitcher, although I don't like to admit to it in polite company. I have done big wall hangings for lots of friends kids, although I have had to stop as there was a phase of so many kids being born. I'm working on a cross stitched quilt at the moment though, which is a bit different for me, and really quite fun.

I will put up some pics when I am done. I've also just finished my first ever patchwork quilt. Such nerdiness! I did a brief course at the stitching and craft show to get it started, and finished it this week after buying a sewing machine. Such is the rock and roll lifestyle of the T2D household!

I have subscribed, but not joined. I'm shy! :o
I would love to learn how to quilt. Both my dad's mum and my great-gran (mum's side) quilted and I would love to carry on the tradition. I have always wanted my mum to teach me how to cross stitch (she has quite a few really beautiful things, and one that was made specifically for me before I was born), but she is getting older and can no longer see the stitches, even with her reading glasses on. :( She doesn't know I've picked it up, so I'm going to send her a Mother's day card (it's in May in the US) and inside is going to be a small piece of x-stitch that is a bunny holding a bouquet of flowers and it says "You're the best Mom!" on it as a surprise gift. The next time we visit, I'll probably pick up all of her charts and patterns to bring back with me. That will give her a bit of room in her craft cupboard and as it will be out of sight, hopefully she won't feel so bad about not being able to continue.

    Also, credit_crunch: WOOHOO!!!! Congrats! :T

Still nothing really to report here. I'm 7DPO and I've been spotting every day since ov again. It's never much, but it's always there.

Yay credit crunch huge congrats to you!

Hugs for the cd1s especially becca x.

That sounds like a lovely idea for your mum mrs t m I'm sure she will appreciate it. Hugs for the spotting I can't remember have you been on the pill before ttc? It can take quite a while for cycles to sort themselves out afterwards. My spotting has been improving gradually month on month (although I have been taking agnus castus and bit b6). Hopefully it will sort itself out in time x

Temps still high this morning so hoping for a decent lp this month

    Hugs to all x

Big hugs becca I hope you can enjoy the rest of your holiday. We will be cycle buddies again!

Credit crunch congrats! Plus you have taught us all a lesson about testing early - you got a negative at 9dpo which is proof to all of us to wait as it most definitely can be wrong then! Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy & baby.

Well although its cold its got to be a record - sun & no rain for an entire bank holiday so were hoping to go out for a walk or something later. Although the clocks going forward has made me feel rather tired!

I really want to do patch work quilting but the quilting part looked complicated to me I was wondering if I should just stick bits of fabric together? Lol

Can I join? I won't officially be TTC until November/December time but I'd like to pick up hints and tips! I'm currently on the pill but I'll be coming off in August to give my natural cycle time to regulate itself. I plan to use FAM to track ovulation. Oh and I'm nearly 23, my fiance is nearly 25 and we plan to move to a bigger 2 bedroom house in December when our lease is up. :D

    Congratulations Credit_crunch :j

Mrs_T_M your idea sounds lovely. I'm sure your mum will appreciate it much more than a box of chocolates or toiletries she'll never use :)

TCD hugs for AF but also for painful AF! Sounds like it's not much fun, hope your OH is being kind and that it's takeaway for tea tonight.

Samtoby any sign of AF today?

ETA (just read back a little further): Oh my goodness, Amy, you poor thing. Glad you managed to talk it out. You know where we are if you need to moan / vent / rant xxx

Nothing much to report here - felt a bit sick and cried at a picture of Harper Beckham yesterday so POAS but it was BFN. I reckon AF is due in the next few days so think I'm out this month.

SS is a b*tch but I keep thinking - if my hormones were strong enough to cause me to feel sick / be tired / burst into tears then surely they'd be strong enough for a TLP?! So as I say, I think I'm out for this month. I had a glass of port last night and a runny egg this morning which made me feel a bit better about not being pg :rotfl:
  • Hello again everyone! Sorry I've been missing posting for a while - have been busy getting married and going on honeymoon. Congrats for any BFPs I've missed (Credit crunch and probably others) and hugs for AF (Becca and probably others).

Thanks for doing the lists - I think I'm now cd35 and probably 6 DPO. This will be my longest cycle since getting off the pill last August (presuming I got my ov date and have a regular LP). We've BD'd lots but am not hopeful (hence buying CBFM and some conceive plus!!). How long did everyone's cycles take to regulkate after the pill? I took my last one at the start of August and since then have had cycles of 34,29,33,37,30,37 and now this one which could be 43 (could be wedding stress??). Should I see my doctor?

    Speak to everyone soon xx
