Birdie just wait til you get pg. I've never had such bad painful bloating in my life! But you don't mind it so much as you're happy!

I wouldn't mind being a fat bloated preggo since there'd be a reason why I'm disgusting... right now I look PG but I'm not so it's uncomfortable AND making me feel sad that there's no baby in there! There's also the worry that colleagues are going to start asking if I've got anything to tell them! :o

Wonder if I stab my belly with a pin it'll pop?! :p

TL I might try that inositol been reading good stuff about it. When in the cycle do you take it yourself?

I've been taking it since CD1, i read a research paper that said 2x200mg of d-chloritol insotil (or something like that) had a big effect on PCOS ladies. unfortunately the d- stuff isn't commercially available, so i got insotil 500mg from amazon but i'm sure they do it in holland and barrat. so i've been taking 1x500mg a day and i think i'm at the end of my cycle and it's CD30, shortest cycle in the past was 35 days and that was before my first pregnancy, best afterwards has been 42 days with last month being 68 days, so it looks like it's halved my cycle

Great news about your lovely follicles Becca! Fingers firmly crossed for you! :)

I'm super fed up of being bloated now. This afternoon I've blown up like Violet Beauregade for some reason... feel like any minute now some Oompa Loompas are going to arrive to roll me off to the juicing room. I'm so uncomfortable! :(

Hope the appointment goes well TCD. I don't know anything about adoption but why would your parents affect your eligibility? Seems unfair to judge you on your parentage. :o

another one feeling more than a little bloated. Been out on a client meeting today and everything i tried on felt uncomfortable, and like you birdie Im sure there'll be a few raised eyebrows in the office!

Im on cd28. Last 2 cycles were 26 days long, so was getting hopeful, but 2 pg tests yesterday said no last night.
had thought i was normalising my cycles after being off the pill a few months, but maybe its back to a 29 day cycle again.

if af doesnt arrive before friday which will be cd30, ill be using my last 2 pg tests, cheapie and digi, otherwise im just waiting out af.

big hugs to everyone whose feeling down and frustrated with their lot today. Im only 5 months into ttc so cant really offer you guys any advise re medical intervention.
hope you all get the answers you want from your appointment tcod

your definitely not the only one Birdie, i have a newly plastered room, door is firmly shut because i dont want to decorate and pay for things to go in it, if we are (fingers crossed) hopefully going to turn it into a nursery.

Congratulations Abis.. my fingers are firmly crossed for a sticky bean for you x x

AFM - I went to the GP this morning to see if i could be prescribed the higher 5mg of folic Acid. I have been taking the 200mcg for 4 months but sadly my cousin has just had to have a termination at 21 weeks as the baby had severe spina bifida, hydrocephalus and other disabilities which would mean the baby would not survive at birth :-( , I was also born with Spina bifida occulta and although its never affected me - (i just have a small hair patch to my lower back) so i saw the GP who was happy to prescribe the higher dose to me.

can i be updated to 3 DPO please x -

  • This makes me think the horrible man has ruined it for me. I am completely estranged from him though (not seen him in over 8 years) so no idea if they take that into account or not.

"Arrange a police check - you will not be allowed to adopt if you, or an
adult member of your family, have been convicted of a serious offence, eg
against a child." (https://www.gov.uk/child-adoption/adoption-assessment)

His conviction isn't against a child but it is 'serious'. It doesn't make any mention of estrangement and I can't find anything about it...
  • I suppose I should get a shower- rocking up to the consultant in his fancy pants office looking like a depressed swamp monster will probably not be conducive to a good appointment... :)

Teamlowe... I have one cat and he's filled with hate. I can only imagine how much worse things would be if I had 79 more... I'd probably need daily blood transfusions!
