I might start tonight, as I have bought zillions of the OPK's so I have plenty spare for the next few months (and really hoping I dont need them!)0 -
danielley Id start earlier than the pack says, although i'm not as experienced as some of the other ladies on here!
I only started using them this month and I started early, mainly because I had no clue when I would ovulate!
I have had a cycle of around 26-29 days the last 4 months.
This month I got a +opk on days CD15/16. And still waiting for AF to appear!Mini me due March 2014

I went back to the doc today for a whinge. Saw a different doc this time and this chap was about 12 but absolutely lovely. He decided he wanted to test my wee for infections and sure enough it would seem I have quite a lot of blood in there and a definite kidney/urinary infection which might be what's causing the abdominal pain. He's got me on antibiotics, and also took a blood sample and sent me off for an x-ray in case I have a kidney stone. So now I have to wait for the x-ray and blood to come back in a week or so.
Tell you what, I know people moan about the NHS but given the treatment I've had lately I can't fault it at all. A sympathetic doc sent me straight off for a scan based on my symptoms. I only had to wait about a fortnight. When it came back showing nothing I phoned for an appointment, got one the same day, was sent off for an x-ray and was in and out of the hospital so quickly that the parking charges didn't even kick in.
So anyway as the scan has showed up nothing out of the ordinary, I'm hoping the whole thing might just be a kidney infection (although as it's been going on since November that might be a bit too optimistic).0 -
That's great news angeltreats, I do hope it is that simple. Fingers crossed for you.
danielley I'd probably start about day 8?

Forgive my excitement, for many of you this might not be a big deal. Look what I've got on cd20! I usually ovulate on cd 27, so this is very good news for me. Just hope I get a decent lp this cycle. Birdie, you must have sent me lucky opks!DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
Hello all
I have NO idea what's going on with AF this month, on Monday night I had some very very light spotting - just a dot of pink and cramps, little bit more (but still a tiny amount) yesterday and last night, and then today nothing, no cramps NOTHING!
AF usually starts off with brown spotting, but gets heavier over a day or 2 till in full "flow" but doesn't ever stop completely....so after work today I did a test...BFN, but I had drunk a lot of tea and squash (as still feeling poorly) so am wondering if my wee was diluted (i used a poundland test strip and I think they pick up fairly low levels...) I'm properly just kidding myself on this one though.
Weird thing is apart from the spotting and cramps I've had no other symptoms, my boobs are still not sore at all and I ALWAYS get really sore between ov and AF.
Should I just accept I'm out again this month, or not give in till AF arrives? And test again in couple days if still nothing.
Actually dreamt about poas last night and getting a BFP, was gutted when I woke up and realised it was a dream!0 -
Loulou that's the worst dream ever lol I had a dream the other week that I had a baby boy and I was gutted to wake up lol
The ladies and cervix seem to suggest I've ovulated but no idea when. Last BD was Saturday morning so probably out so oh well, least it's a nice early ovulation
CM is clear but like silly putty, which it never has been before. How odd
Really really really worried about tomorrow. At least it'll soon be over xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Bambisbelle thats so sad for you, I hope you dont get any other horrible 'suprises' like that. Big hugs.
danielley - cd4 is very early, I would probably start around day 9/10 if I was having a 28/9 day cycle but expect to get a positive around cd 11-13. 2pm is supposed to be optimum time but Ive had positives quite late in the evenings too, Id just do whatever is a good time for you, but make sure its after 11am.
Vic - that would be a big deal for me too, yay for earlier ovulation! Im hoping I have a normal cycle this month too.
Angeltreats that will be a nice relief if its nothing fertility related for you!
Loulou, if you dont get AF in a couple of days I guess test again?
TL whats happening tomorrow is it hopefully when you get clomid?0 -
Yip, last appointment they said go away and try naturally and if nothing in six months then they'll give me Clomid...just worried they're guna try to fob me off or shout at me for still being fat. I have inadequacy issues at the best of times lol
Sorry forgot to say yay to Vic for early ov, very excitingx x

Is there a bmi you have to be before they give you clomid? If not but if youve lost weight in the past 6 months/or youve reached it hopefully it should all be fine?0
